Hallow's Eve - Bloxtober Event Full Review (Part 1)

It's that time of the year again: Bloxtober! Last year, the ROBLOX Games Team brought us "The Witching Hour". This year, the Games team has brought us "Hallow's Eve". We all knew it was coming, and let's be honest, we were expecting something that lacked excitement and entertainment. I guess you can see we were wrong!

Let's begin!

Overview
The game was officially opened to the public on 10/13/2014 and instantly shot to the top of the popular feed, as most Roblox-generated games do. More than 9,000 players were drawn to it immediately. This was a highly anticipated event, despite the preconceived notions, and it proved skeptics wrong. The ROBLOX Games Team did a magnificent job! I enjoyed playing it, even when I couldn't get some rare badges, but we'll get into that later.

Gameplay
The game is round based, and each round takes place in a classic ROBLOX level. Players attack monsters with candy in an attempt to defend a cauldron, which can be found at/around the center of each map. Waves start out a bit slow, but as time counts down, more and more monsters appear. Teamwork is essential because you all have the same goal.

Monsters
First off, there is no correlation between which map is currently being played, and the monsters that are attacking. There are 7 classes of regular monsters, each with 4 monsters per class, as well as 3 rare monsters and 1 sponsored monster. Let's take a look at the 28 regular monsters...

Dawnzilla

The common monsters can be found in all maps, and they're fairly easy to defeat. Each monster gives you around 22 XP per kill. The sponsored monster, Dawnzilla, is only found in a special round, dedicated to her. Use a pencil eraser rocket launcher to defeat her! The 3 Rare Monsters are... well, rare! Lord Umberhallow and Vlad the Impaler spawn only during regular rounds (not the special Dawnzilla round) and are valued by everyone. Find them first and claim your prize before another person does the same. The Troll Warlord (currently) can only be spawned by a ROBLOX admin, so start stalking! The troll is spawned from Troll Summoner gear.
