Roblox: Games with 20 Million Visits

Sword Fighting Tournament_ImageSo, guys here is just an article to update people on the Most Popular Games of All Time - The Top 20. All this article will do will be to list the Top 20 games, giving each a brief description + a lot of information, some of which may be irrelevant to what you need to know to play the game.

The stats will change, but this is just an update. I will put capitals in names, even if they don't have capitals because I am very pedantic.

CloneTrooper1019's Murder is the best "Murder" game, and here's why.

Loleris' Mad Murderer continues to dominate the front page, only sometimes dethroned by the rare gem or usual run of the mill free modeled, front page game. Murder Mystery has started to lag behind, but still maintains a dedicated user base. But what about the last of these three, CloneTrooper's Murder? While it definitely has lagged behind in comparison to the other two, he has put in a lot of work, along with making the claim "The best looking Murder game on ROBLOX". Now, that may sound crazy but it's actually true. How? Allow me to explain. This should not be taken as a review, it is simply an explanation/praise of the additions that have been added since then.

Game Review: Aduro World ThemePark

Aduro World ThemePark

     By 1wolf1person

As beautiful as it is flawlessly scripted, Aduro World earns every single one of it's 52,272 visits, 597 thumbs up, and 2,797 favorites. This theme park is very resource intensive and I was getting minor client side lag on a video setting of 10.

Editorial: Spotlight of Silence [BETA]

>OBEY<_ImageSingle-player games are a rare occurrence on ROBLOX, with a more general focus on massive-multiplayer experiences and ever-growing server sizes (we are up to 50 now!) in games such as Reason 2 Die and many group personal servers.

However, Silence, a game created by Venvious exploded onto the scene, appearing near the top of the popular games category for a period of time. At the time of writing it has received 135,064 plays, has been favourited 8,119 times, and has a very high approval rating with 3,660 thumbs up and 403 thumbs down

Reason 2 Die: The Ultimate Guide and Review

Disclaimer: This review may seem awkward in places since most of it has been done and I've only just now been able to finish it up and make it more up to date.

Reason 2 Die should be a game that is familiar to any veteran ROBLOX member, the member originally named PlaceBuilder appeared late last year under a new alias, PlaceRebuilder. See, the original Reason 2 Die was broken after ROBLOX got rid of user meshes and some updates so PlaceBuilder came back from the grave and gave the game new life with this new reincarnation of the game...even though he kicked the bucket around Christmas of 2013, he's back after about 3-4 months and the game is back on the front page after actually getting updates again!

This can hopefully turn into a weekly article, alongside my regular place reviews. In a weekly overview,I normally showcase 5-7 games, depending on what I find. Note: The place may not be popular, but the point of this is to introduce you to new, and interesting places.

Darkness 2 Review

The long awaited sequel to the popular game 'Darkness' by loleris is finally here and it instantly hit the front page with many people enjoying it. Thus today, I bring to you the review of 'Darkness 2'.

When you first enter the game, you are greeted with a waiting screen. After that, instead of spawning into a lobby like in Darkness, you see a spectate screen where you can view everyone who is still alive. Actually, the lobby is still there but you just can't see it. I feel that it is a great update since the lobby wasn't that great and in the past you could only see the beast.

Like Flappy Birds? Check out Flappy Blox!

Hey guys, the game Flappy Blox isn't very popular yet, but I hope it gets there!

Flappy Blox is a game based on the new addicting app, Flappy Bird. Although Flappy Blox isn't exactly like Flappy Birds, it comes close. It was created by Worsen, who also made the game Territory Conquest which has over 2 million visits.

The Thumbnail for Flappy Blox

Flappy Blox has almost 7000 place visits, but even in it's early stages it is extremely professional looking. It has plenty of Guis which make it look hi-tech but when you get right down to it, it's just a bird going through pipes.

I have found that it is easier than the app Flappy Bird, but not by much. My high score is 22, and I have played over a hundred times, but then again I am not too great at Flappy Bird either. When you first get on to the game, you have 3 Options:
Spectate - Watch other people play Flappy Blox
Play - Play Flappy Blox
Customize - Choose whether to be a Chicken, Bunny, Snowman, Penguin or Dino

Both Spectate and Customize are extras that aren't included in Flappy Bird itself, so it is good to see that the owner decided to take the game a step or 2 further.
Spectate is a good way to maybe pick up how fast other people click, and when they click.
Customize is going to include new colours soon, but right now it has those 5 choices. The Chicken is the starter and the Bunny, Snowman, Penguin and Dino are all Gamepasses that you can buy (They only cost 25Rs each).

The chicken or Dino or whatever you choose will be your character, unlike some other Flappy Bird games on Roblox, it isn't animated but instead looks just like the packages, except at a side angle and without legs.
Just a little view of the game, the helper is 1funnygame2
There isn't much else that I can add except maybe, PLAY NOW!

Spotlight: Ignoble | Early Access Testing

First off, allow me to say welcome to 2014 everyone! May we be graced with actually good releases this year rather than the same, repetitive concepts that have been done to death that mostly populate the front page. That done, let's move onto the actual subject of the article; Teah Rudimentalitys new work-in-progress, Ignoble. Just a small note this article won't really have sections, since that's reserved for reviews, but spotlights are sort of just all over the place.

I'd like to bring attention to the name, Ignoble. What could that possibly mean? Well, a quick Google brings up this; "Not honorable in character or purpose."

Just knowing the definition of the name will give you a brief idea of the game, but some more exposition, just bear with me. Ignoble was actually already out late last year but was broken due to a ROBLOX update regarding camera usage, but Rudimentality fixed that issue and have since then been updating game with new content and bug fixes. The game also pretty much uses the same movement system as Strobe, another game by the same developer that's gone under for a bit due to the very same issue that broke Ignoble.

At it's core Ignoble is a third person shooter in the vein of something like DayZ but without the zombies, once entering the game you're able to customize your character with a variety of different hats, want to be a bandana-clad psycho in a suit? Sure, you can do that! Once you actually spawn into the game though it's about quick response time, since pretty much everyone is out to get you. Whether you spawn into a city, or out in an open field it's best to open your inventory and get your gun ready, and make sure you turn off the safety. Yes, you heard me correctly, you're able to switch the safety on/off in this game, something Apocalypse Rising doesn't have I'm pretty sure.

Your main objective in Ignoble (for the time being, anyway) is to basically play bounty hunter, or the mercenary. There are bounty boards scattered throughout important landmarks within the game that will show a brief picture of the colors of the player's garments and a bounty amount, and maybe their whereabouts if that's know. Then it's up to you to seek them out, or wait for them to come to you. But if that's not your kinda thing then feel free to roam about and get crates which contain random loot that you can sell to NPCs for cash and other items. Or maybe you want to just run around slaughtering everyone in your wake, playing the lone wolf? That's possible, Ignoble is all about choice to be brief. Choice is what will dictate your experience, but I suppose that's what can be said about all of these "DayZ"-like games.

But I digress, recently added are also guards which will stand around the boundaries of towns/cities and will shoot anyone that threatens them, or has $300 in bounty. (Killing more people gives you a higher bounty if that wasn't obvious enough, and killing guards instantly gives you a $300 bounty). Bounty can be decreased by helping out people by giving them goods such as "flour" and "exotic tea leaves". Radios are also a thing that were added recently, find a man named Carleton in a gas station and he can sell you random items for quests, and radios for $200 which you can tune into different channels with, but you will remain anonymous to players that you contact on the same channel, and it will reveal your whereabouts. Night vision scopes are also a thing, but currently broken and will be re-added in a later patch.

This is what I like about Ignoble, even though it's not in first-person it can actually be extremely immersive at times. The minimalistic hud and feel of the features give you this lonely, secluded feeling when out roaming the countryside and scavenging for supplies and keeping watch for bandits. Even if I don't feel like I did it justice, Ignoble is available for 25 R$ and I extremely recommend you check it out even if the development is still very early on it. You can find it here. Be sure to keep on the watch for this one everyone, it may very well be one of the most anticipated releases for 2014 on ROBLOX. At least, it is for me. There may be another article on Ignoble when it's in a more complete state but no promises.

Next time, I'll be looking at the sequel to one of the more known ROBLOX shooters, Authority 2: Corruption.

Review: Cookie Clicker GUI Game

Cookie Clicker
     By David1234501

Hello, readers. Today I bring you Cookie Clicker, an all-GUI tycoon that recently took the BC Games page by storm. This differs from Quenty's in the way that the lag is very, very reduced (being that the entire game was made with GUIs). While the graphics are questionable compared to Quenty's, it has almost the exact same game aspects. A giant cookie to be clicked, upgrades to how many cookies you get per click, and items to purchase that make cookies for you. Different from Quenty's, though, is the "Chocolate Milk". Every so often (you can see the exact countdown in the bottom right corner of your screen), Chocolate Milk will activate. It increases your Cookies per click by five times.

As it isn't a very complicated game (yet), I don't see much more to be written besides the bugs. When you leave and come back, your Cookies Per Second stays the same and your Cookies stay the same. Your upgrades, though, are erased. The problem with this? When you come back, you are able to purchase the upgrades for their starter prices, which is easily exploitable.

Cookie is more of a tech-demo and a showcase than a game, albeit a good one at that!

Christmas Rush Quick Guide

Hello guys :D This is my latest post, and I am sorry for taking soooo long!
I am sure all of you are excited for Christmas, looking forward to waking your parents up at 6 in the morning to look in stockings, running upstairs or downstairs to the Christmas tree for the presents, eating Christmas dinner and maybe celebrating it all with family and friends that aren't normally around!

The Christmas Rush is an amazing game where you make, paint and wrap gifts. All the while you are dressed as an Elf, and you deliver the gifts to Santa's Sleigh and gain Cookies. Christmas Rush has been around since 2011 I think, although I started to play it in 2012. I think it is an amazing game,  because to see the young children talking about Santa, and Christmas, it makes me feel happy to know people still believe in him.

The clip below is my way to make cookies quick:

Steps:
[1] Buy the Exclusive VIP Game Pass
[2] Buy the Half-Speed VIP Game Pass
[3] Join the game
[4] Go to the Storage Room, and get 3 Strings
[5] When you get 50 cookies, go in the Workshop
[6] To the left of the workshop, there is a little room, go in
[7] To the left hand side of the little room, there will be 2 potions, buy the blue one - You will be faster at walking
[8] When you get 100 cookies, go back and buy the red potion - You will get +3 cookies per gift
[9] Now you just get 3 strings, go to Magic Infusers (Near Plastic Modeling) to make them into Gravity Coils
[10] Then head into Gift Wrapping and make them into Presents
[11] Then go to the back of the Sleigh, and click it - then click all the presents
[12] Do this over and over

I have all Badges, except the Beta Tester ones. It took me roughly 3 hours maybe a bit more. Everyone starts of with a Crafting Book. This tells you how to make everything, and for people with Exclusive VIP you just get a finished item (Only Guitars, Swords, Skateboards, String, Sleighs and RoPeds) and put it in a Magic Infuser.

Hope this helps you guys :D

Showcase: Raise An Epic Turtle

Raise an Epic Turtle
  By HyperBlue
▀ Raise an Epic Turtle [ Open Beta ]_Image
This game isn't your average "Raise a brik lol :D", nor a free-modeled piece of trash. I can't even decide where to begin. You spawn on an island as pictured to the right with a few buildings on it. One is the bank, where you can deposit and withdraw your berries. The second is the turtle adoption center, where you actually get your turtle. The third is the turtle daycare, where you can leave your turtle while you are AFK. Lastly is the battle arena, my personal favorite, located at the end of a bridge.

When you first spawn into the game, you can talk to the owner of the adoption center to receive a turtle, along with a GUI to name him. The name can be changed at any time. To the left of the screen is a GUI containing your turtle's hunger, mood, stats, etc. To feed your turtle, collect yellow berries from the bushes. There is also one bush that spawns orange berries. If you click the "Craft" button, you can create new berries, and if you are anything like me, you'll only feed your turtle ultimate berries (the hardest berry to craft).

The bank is very useful, but there isn't a lot to say about it. You store your berries here when you go to the arena so that you don't die and lose your berries. That's about it.

The turtle daycare is an amazing idea that I can't believe people haven't come up with before. Whenever you play any other "Raise a _____" game, your pet dies if you AFK. Instead, you can deposit your turtle at the daycare and his hunger won't go down.

Lastly is my favorite, the battle arena. When you enter, your turtle will be equipped with a rocket launcher. Use the flying tool, step on to your turtle to mount it, and click to fly. The "F" button is used to fire your missiles, your health is represented by a blue bar, and you have to rack up as many KOs as you can before the round ends. It is much, much harder than you would think.

The only other thing I want to include is crafting. You can collect yellow and orange berries from bushes, but have to craft the rest. Click the Crafting button to open the GUI, and start by combining the yellow and orange berries. After lots of crafting, trial, and error, you can craft the brown and pink berry to create the ultimate berry.

That's all. Excuse the lack of pictures, there aren't a whole lot of pictures to add. As compensation, here is a picture of a bunny with a pancake on its head instead of the usual cup of hot chocolate;
