A few hours ago John Shedletsky: Aka Telamon tweeted this:
First; a little background about the Ambassador Program which was set up April 22nd 2009. The program allows a user to post a generated link which advertised ROBLOX, on a website. For every link they post, they receive 2 Tickets. You could post up to 50 links on 50 different websites and so the users earnings were limited to a maximum of 100 Tix per day - a large amount for a free account.
Earlier, John asked whether they should kill the programme or keep it. For a long time the Ambassador Program was deemed broken by the community but was finally fixed between 2010-2011. However, there has been many issues with the Ambassador Programme ever since it was first introduced, one of which that it could be abused by users. It's all very well that free accounts could earn so much as they were helping ROBLOX out, but there were loopholes.
One such loophole was a site called Robamb. Robamb could only be accessed if the ROBLOX user made a RoBamb account. There were fears that it was used as a phishing site and so users were advised by the community to adopt a new password for their Robamb account. Once logged in, the user could generate domains for their links to ROBLOX, thus bypassing the need for a new website per link. This became a very popular service, but ROBLOX administrators were on the case and began blocking these domains from the programme. Robamb's popularity soon started to decrease as it was becoming more and more associated with rule breaking and the program was regularly patched to block the newly generated domains. Although users still took advantage of the service, it was soon forgotten.
The Ambassador Program is a great way of earning a few extra Tickets and encourages the ROBLOX community to help out the Devs, but is it worth it? It caused users to both spam links and break the rules, but on the other hand it made users feel as if they had a job to do on ROBLOX and earn virtual money for their efforts. What do you think?
Should the program be killed, or do the positives outweigh the negatives and should be kept? Post your thoughts below!

New ROBLOX Event: DisneyXDLabRats Scavenger Hunt!
A new event has recently been discovered by users among the ROBLOX community. This event promotes the TV series found on the Disney XD channel. There is currently one hat you can win from the places found on DisneyXDLabRats's profile.
The way to obtain this hat is to visit all three places and find the 9 secret items. You have to find three items in each game to achieve a badge in each. In the first game you must find the screwdriver, computer chip and spanner to 'fix Eddy'. In this level you play as the character named 'Bree'. You spawn with her hair, clothes and body and also gain her speed ability.
Once completed the next level requires you to find three items while dressed as the character named 'Chase' using your forcefield ability.
In the final level you play as the character named 'Adam'. In this place you have to find your jetpack and fill it up with fuel, then fly to the helicopter. Once there, you will receive the final badge.
Once all three badges are obtained you will receive the Lab Rats Cap:

Place Review: Realistic Boxing
First of, I'd like to congratulate BillCheesey5 on becoming an RN Writer. Being a good Writer isn't that easy, it takes dedication and skill in order to be a good Writer. If you felt that the Staff doesn't like you. Maybe you weren't picked because you didn't add that many interesting things in your example article, resulting in rejection. Don't feel bad, we'll hire new Staff members again soon.
I decided to review Realistic Boxing because it was suggested by fellow Staff Member NonstopEpic. I'll tell you how your suggestion can be made a reality later. When I entered this place, I was immediately greeted with your typical Boxing arena. Ring in the middle and seats on the outer areas. Let me tell you one thing, those "people" you see sitting down, don't exist. They're just some random items to grab people's attention. So, as seen on the top of our character's we have nicknames. Those are your boxing nicknames, you may have a similar name to someone else.
I was placed with the person who had the same nickname as me. All of our cameras are taken over and a GUI with the characters and names of the users who will fight. The two fighters will then be teleported into the ring to fight. The fight starts and there is a GUI which says which punches you can throw. If I were you, I'd try clicking very fast on the GUI on which punch you would like to throw. I was immediately knocked down by the other boxer. Another GUI pops up telling you to stand up, click it as fast as possible! My fight ended in a TKO, making the other boxer the winner.
Scripting: 10/10. This place contains many scripts, obviously.
Tools: 10/10. All necessary tools in order to become a boxing champion are provided.
Building: 7/10. Simple, but good building.
Community Enjoyment: 10/10. Numerous people enjoy this place.

Creativity: 10/10. Very creative.
Deals with Problems: 10/10. No problems experienced.

Difficulty: 6/10. Not too hard.
Reviewer's Enjoyment: 10/10. Enjoyed it very much.

***I don't encourage you to go out and fight, don't do it, you'll get in serious trouble***

Ninja Sunday!
Sunday today started with a CRASH, BANG, and a BOOM!
ROBLOX has so far released to profitable Limited hats, both Ninja themed.
The first was: Ninja Master: Dojo of Doom. Now this hat is a retexture of the original Ninja Master, which was in a contest a few years back. It was priced at 500 ROBUX, with only #350 in stock. The hat sold out within MINUTES, and is now hovering around the 2k-3k, overall, a very good buy.
The second hat released was Ninja Necktie, it is a rather normal tie, grey in colour, with the infamous Ninja throwing stars printed on it. It is priced at 50 ROBUX, and has #1250 in stock. It hasn't quite sold out yet, at the time of this post it has so far sold 950 copies, but I expect it to reign in a nice little amount of profit.

Arabian Knight Scimitar Review
Hello ROBLOXians!
Today I will be reviewing the Arabian Knight Scimitar gear. I think this gear is amazing and I will tell you why.
Texture: The texture is very inventive; as it has symbols on the blade, and has a nice yellow colour. I don't think there is any downsides with the texture. There are also pearl-looking objects (coloured red) on the hilt. 10/10
In-Game Abilities: In-Game, when you equip this item, your character adopts a special pose, which makes your character use both their hands to hold the sword. And, whenever you hit someone with the sword, it gives them a burn that will slowly blox them over time. But, sometimes the pose and the burn ability don't work. 8/10
My favorite part of it: My favorite part is the fire that is on it. It is a nice yellow colour, and because all the items with fire that I have seen are either: Limited/ Limited U, ROBLOX Card Exclusives, Or gift items. So this gives people the nice chance to obtain an item with fire.
Overall: This is an amazing gear with amazing qualities; and you must buy it if you have 450 ROBUX! I give it an overall 9/10!

Mesh: I think the mesh of this gear is very interesting; because it has a slightly crooked (in a good way) handle, and the hilt is also crooked. The blade looks sharp and deadly. There is some tiny room for improvement though. 9.9/10

Slime Apocalypse Review
When you think of "slimes" you immediately think of rather large blobs of goo that slowly inch their way towards you at the speed of an angry snail. The slimes in Slime Apocalypse are anything but slow. These things are fast. If you don't keep moving you're dead.
Gameplay 6/10
The basic goal of the game is too survive. There are groups of slimes that are constantly chasing you and if they touch you you're dead. It's rather fast-paced and you can't stand still or you're dead. The problem is that running around in circles gets boring after awhile. There's a shop but it takes forever to get enough money to buy anything. There's also no way to defend yourself from the slimes by doing anything other than running. All in all it becomes a monotonous game of running around in circles.
Effort 9/10
There was a lot of effort put into this. I imagine that the scripting needed for the slimes is incredible and the map looks very good as well although it could be a bit bigger.
Creativity 8/10
I've seen quite a few slime games in the past. Although they took a different look on the slimes and the gameplay was different.
Overall 7.5/10
Suggestions

- A way to fight back against the slimes/slow them down.
- A way to cook up slimes and eat them.
- More slimes 8D

Interview with Blizzeta!
For this interview, I caught up with Blizzeta, a well known forumer!
In late 2008, it was christmas time when i really got into it.
2) What was your favourite part of the site back then? Why?
I really loved the contests, it had a exciting feeling other contests couldnt give you.
3) When did you start foruming?
About in mid 2009 got bored of the games and checked out the forums, we inmediately fell in love.
4) Which is your favourite forum topic? Why?
I'd say Roblox Talk, they are pretty civilized but love to fool around.
4) What do you most enjoy on ROBLOX and why?
I really enjoy the stamper tool, it simplifies building in various ways.
5) If you had 10,000 Robux, what would you spend it on?
Probably on the winter sword, been checking that out for quite a while, also the perfection head, most people dont appreciate using the heads in the catalog.
6) What is your favourite item in the Catalog? Why?
I'd say t-shirts, a good way for all robloxians to express their sense of style.
7) Who is your favourite admin? Why?
I am Lotusnabi's #1 fan, the first day she came, she was really social and helpful to the forumers. I really enjoy her work for us.
8) After ROBLOX comes out on the iPad, what device should ROBLOX aim at next?
I expect the xbox 360, it might flow in direction with the right advertising.
9) What could be added to the forums to enhance user enjoyment?
I'd love posting pictures, some forumers aleready devoloped such feature, but its not visible to those who do not own the app, they only see the off-site link.
10) And finally, what is your favourite kind of cheese?
I'd say mozzarrella, cant have pizza without it. :)

Hello! I'm BillCheesey5!
Ohai Roblox News readers! I'm the newest employee for RN, my name is BillCheesey5. I'm a Catalog Analyst, I will mainly do gear reviews however.
I've been on Roblox since the 24th of May 2010, so I'm approaching two years on Roblox.
I love drawing ROBLOXians, but I haven't set up a system for people buying drawings from me though. IBarrageI is better than me though, I recommend his services.
I can't wait to start posting!

Interview with Refreshingwater!
I felt bored so I decided to interview myself. Since most of you are still asking "Who's Refreshingwater?", most of you fans know that I'm the Place Reviewer. But, I would like people to know a little bit more about me. I took the normal interview questions and turned them into my own. Let's see how I did.

1) When did you join ROBLOX?
Originally, I joined ROBLOX on March 6, 2008. But, I've been switching accounts a lot. I don't really want to explain why.
2) What was the first game you played? Describe it
I can't remember the name of it, but I can say it was an obstacle course.
3) What is the largest amount of Robux/Tix you have ever had?
The largest amount would probably be 6,000 ROBUX because I had purchased some ROBUX.
4) Do you usually forum in ROBLOX Talk?
Yes, I have almost reached 3,000 posts overall. I'm growing pretty tired of RT, but I try to stay there.
5) If you had 1,000,000 ROBUX what would you spend it on?
All of the limited items that won't suck up my ROBUX.
6) Why place reviews? Why not something else?
I chose place reviews because it's my thing. I like writing those reviews because it lets me interact with players and play games. Other things will probably bore me after like the first month. No offense to any of the people who write on these topics, but it's true for me.
7) If you were CEO for the day, what would you add to the site?
I would add the ability to let users remove content that was published by mistake by them.
8) Who is your favorite ROBLOXian? Why?
Besides me, I would say Troywwe. Why? He taught me how to swordfight better. Unfortunately, he's banned forever now.
9) What's your favorite place?
It would be Call of ROBLOXia 5 - ROBLOX at War.
10) Pancakes... or waffles?
I'd go with Pancakes.
I'm now sporting a new logo. Tell me what you think at my Twitter. The logo's theme is Spring.
