Sale Review: Swingin' Hats!

Hello, readers, RayMan36 here with a reason to start swingin'. I'm talking about the series of hats that were released over Saturday and Sunday- pre-war swag. I myself am a huge fan of pre-war culture, so let's start Stompin' at the Savoy! Remember, these items will be from worst to best.

All Hail to the King of Swing!

Gear Friday Review: Pi Day

Happy 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105... Day! Oops, I mean,
Happy Pi Day! March 14th, or 3/14, is a day dedicated to pi, or pie, or tarte, or whatever your country calls it. So what better day than this to release tons of gears dedicated to.. well, pie! Wait, what? Oh, it's only the 7th? Well.. why is ROBLOX making pi-related things a week before Friday...? Well, it's actually Pi Month, 3/14, or March 2014, so it's not JUST pi day this year, kinda neat, eh?

The pies released this Friday, erm, I mean, the gears released this Friday each had something to do with pie. Whether it was shooting pies (or the occasional pi symbol at you), flinging pies through the air using the power of rage, or even turning your foes into pie, this Gear Friday's got it all!

Gear Friday Review: Mardi Gras

So this week's gears are all Mardi Gras themed to celebrate the upcoming Mardi Gras holiday celebrated down in New Orleans at the start of Lent. It's a fantastic celebration apparently, I've never been, but I have experienced people throwing beads at me off of floats. Close enough.. right?

Five gears were actually released this Friday, four of which were related to the topic, and then there was a Hot Wheels Truck which basically came out for no reason at all and was completely random, but I guess Hot Wheels bought ROBLOX now so all ROBLOXians will be turning into trucks or something. Oh well, faster transportation.

Gear Friday Review: ITS BACK!

Yeah, Gear Fridays are back! We got two gears on Friday last week, but I'm pretty sure that Gear Fridays have returned, seeing as how we got the usual 3 nonlimited, 1 limited gear thing this week. This is a really lucky thing, because I started to think that they would be lost forever like Tix Tuesdays. So yeah, I'm very excited with all the gears, because luckily, they're all amazing. The gears this week were randomly themed, but ah well. Two swords, a mace, and an axe. Luckily, we did get a limited, which was one of the swords, but I'll get into that later.

Good Christmas Finds!

Rayman36 here, with my two front teeth. Anyway, I thought ROBLOX did a really nice job with some of the regular hats (on-sale for robux, maybe timed). I've got a list (I have checked it twice) of great and cheap impulse buys this year. I've made this list mostly because I have 250,000 tickets because of a hopeful TC profit, but the rates are too high. I've been living like a bum in Chicago, roblox-wise.

I like this because of its fedora-ness. On every major event, on ROBLOX  or globally, ROBLOX releases a fedora. This is no exception, but it is higher on the list of other fedoras because the holly, colors, and considerably low price makes this a great addition for any neckbeard to wear.

The main reason this is on the list is its price and originality. The hat's cheap, and is a nice shoulder pet for the holidays. I also liked Skating penguin for its originality and sort of low price.

These may not look the best, but they are super cheap for the price of 10 tickets.

Three pluses: price (25 Robux), look, and originality. There aren't many crowns out there,  but most are 1000 robux. This is an  original Cesar-type crown for really cheap.

These hats were ROBLOX showing their holiday cheer. The hat looks well enough, but the price is phenomenal.

I guess that's it for today. Agree with me? Want to come at me with an angry mob of villagers armed with flame- encrusted pitchforks? Rant or simply comment down below!

The Black Friday User Retextures Revealed!

With Black Friday literally right around the corner (tomorrow morning) it's safe to say most ROBLOXians are saving up their hard earned Robux in order to buy discounted virtual hats, gear and packages over the weekend sale. The most anticipated of all items in the sale are of course the user-retextures that make an appearance every year. This year however, the user-made retexture section of the poll was nowhere to be seen. Instead, BrightEyes hosted a mini-competition in the Retexture Arists Official Channel group in which the best retexture designers on ROBLOX are part of. Previous years, retexturers relied on publicity in the polls to get their item published on Black Friday. The system rewarded those with the most tickets to spend on advertising and did not lend itself to higher quality user-content. This year there's a difference - it's not about who spends the most money; its about who can produce the best design in a time-period.

I believe this higher quality of user-content is already displayed by the winners of the Black Friday retexture contest, and showcase some of the best designs ROBLOX artists have to offer. So without further ado, let us list the four user-retextured items:

King's Knight - By DarkGenex
King's Knight
Boasting a royal colour scheme of red and light yellow, this retextured helm brings a completely different look to the mesh of that hat compared to the original Alar Knight. The darker areas on the main faceguard part of the helm add extra depth to the design, bringing about realism and excellent aesthetics. The battle-worn effect on the metallic wings adds to the medieval/fantasy aura of the King's Knight making it look authentic on a ROBLOXian's battle-scarred head. The use of this texture on the plume is an interesting choice too. My prediction is that it will be non-limited, between 750R$ and 1000R$

The Korblox Keeper - By godsend

The Korblox Keeper (Brighteyes Took)
Sporting an excellently detailed texture, the Korblox Keeper is a shining example of what the best ROBLOXian retexturers can achieve with a little bit of time. The stained-glass-almost effect on  the main body of the helmet and the horns really adds the overall design. The shading within these parts and the gradual gradient look fantastic alongside the eerie, ice-cold colour scheme. The blue piercing eyes paired with the lighting effects and shine on the front armour piece make a great final addition to godsend's retexture. My prediction is that this item will be limited for a starting price of R$500 and will have one thousand unique owners.

Assassin of the Cold Abyss - By Errorless
Assassin of the Cold Abyss BRIGHTEYES TOOK!
My personal favourite out of the four user-made retextures this year, the Assassin of the Cold Abyss features an excellent texture, colour scheme and great use of the original mesh. There is of course, some history tied to this hat. If you cast your mind back to April 1st 2012,  you may remember the Hooded Spacelord - one of the renowned 'hacked items' that was sold in a ridiculously small quantity (55) for its price of R$21. The hat's shape and design has become fairly prestigious over the past two-years with this retexture set to reignite the ROBLOXians' interest in the hood. What separates this from the original hat so much is the use of the realistic metal shading and worn effect place on the front breathing apparatus of the mask - it looks fantastic. My prediction is that the item will be limited for a starting price of R$10,000 with between 100-200 in stock.

Plaid Mustache Bandanna - By Mickmack
Plaid Mustache Bandana BRIGHTEYES TOOK
Bringing a less 'serious' looking hat to the table is mickymack who has managed to contact a solid looking design to amuse ROBLOXians. It features an authentic plaid texture and a large thick moustache in front of where the ROBLOXians mouth would be. It sort-of reminds me of cartoons where characters facial features sometimes look like they have been imprinted onto the headgear they are wearing. My prediction is that it will be non-limited and will be priced at R$150 like the other bandannas in the 'series'.

There are of course, plenty of other awesome items to be released in the Black Friday sale - including a number of other (non-user made?) retextures. I won't be revealing those, so I don't spoil the fun! Check the catalog regularly!

Thanks for reading!

Gear Overview: Bright Friday Weekend

Hello! Pbjms here. After my long absence from the site, I have gotten a new laptop with a working keyboard. So yeah, I'm  back. So, It's time to continue writing my Gear Friday Overviews, seeing as how there was finally a few gears made - I mean, It's a sale, so there had to be.. right? Only two gears are out so it's not a full gear Friday, but it's better than nothing. The gears are the Light Face Melting Guitar, published on Friday night, and Sword of the Bright Knight, published Sunday afternoon.

Bright-Friday-Sale

Yes, I know, by now you've probably skipped the above paragraph and are saying "But there was already an overview of the sale!" This is just focused on the gears, and there was no notification focused on the gears, so, I'm using that. Anyway, time for the review.

Light Face Melting Guitar
Light Face Melting Guitar
That heavenly sound that will bring the house (and people's faces) down.
I have absolutely no idea what the point of this is, seeing as how there already is a Face Melting Guitar. This one, unlike the other, is limited. It was 300 R$, which is a bit less than the original, and raised to about 900 R$. I mean, that's some nice profit there, but it would ultimately be a waste of money to buy, seeing as how there is already a face melting guitar.. and it does the same exact thing. (Price: 8.5/10)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's ability is, well, the same as the other guitar. You change the pitch of the sound, and notes using the different keys that are on a GUI placed on the side of your screen. Much like the other guitar, after spamming some keys and making a nonsense of sounds, anybody around you will have their face slowly lower ("melt off"). It's really useless, and for the price of 300 R$ +, it's not worth it. (Ability: 5/10)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time to get down to the only thing good about this guitar - the appearance. It's mesh is the same exact thing as the other guitar, but it looks like a nice electric guitar. It's body is white with blue lightning bolt things, and has a long brown neck like most guitars do. It's pretty nice, though. I mean, I wouldn't play it, but if I knew how I would (and melting off the faces of my enemies would be great). (Appearance: 9/10)
Overall:  7.5/10

Sword of the Bright Knight
Sword of the Bright Knight
For the strong, for the weak, for justice! This sword has multiple attack modes and does 20 damage points per lunge.
So, this sword is just pretty much another sword that has no special ability, isn't limited, and has practically zero demand. It's priced at 500 R$, which is an alright price, I guess. It really should be less, though, as it is absolutely nothing special. All it does is... well, I'll get to that in a second. (Price: 7.5/10)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said directly above, this does nothing special. It has three different attacks, a normal swing, a spin attack, and a jump attack. Each has no bonus effect, really. They all do about 20% damage. It's pretty stupid and useless, really, as there are TONS of other gears to buy instead of this, if you're only looking for ability, of course. (Ability: 7/10)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The appearance is the only good part about this gear. It has a shiny blade, with a shiny handle that has black stripes on it. There is a blue gem toward the center, which really looks nice combined with the whole "Bright" themed. If it wasn't for the awful price and terrible ability, this sword would actually be pretty decent. (Appearance: 9/10)
Overall:  8/10

Overall: 7.75/10

The gears weren't that bad, but they weren't good either. Oh well, ROBLOX made up with it with some really nice hats like the shaggy, squid, and kleos helmet.

Parallel Universe Items Overview

In this article I'll be doing a quick overview of all the "parallel universe" items release during the Parallel Universe Mini-sale.

Flaming Hotphones
Flaming Hotphones
Flaming Hotphones were made as the counterpart for Ice Coldphones, a pair of limited headphones. These shared the same original price as Ice Coldphones, 250 robux. They look exactly like Ice Coldphones, with, of course, the exception of color. The Flaming Hotphones are all red and share the same mesh as its ancestor. It is still onsale, and I say if you have 250 robux to spare it's definitely worth it.

Cat Tags
Cat Tags
This cleverly-named hat was made as the counterpart to Dog Tags. I especially like this because it has a unique look to it. Instead of the bland-looking metal tags, hanging from the string are 2 metal cat-shaped plates with "meow" printed on them. At a cheap price of 25 robux, I'd say these are also worth the price.

Nice Red Bandana
Nice Red Bandana
Nice Red Bandana was made as a counterpart to Mean Green Bandana. The original Mean Green Bandana is green, quite obviously, and has a monstrous-looking mouth with razor-sharp teeth. This bandana is red, once again obvious, and has the epic face's well-known mouth on it. It costs 150 robux, same as Mean Green Bandana. I'd say it's quite worth it if you have enough.

Light Tutor
Light Student
This is probably the strangest-looking hat from the Parallel Universe sale. This was made as the counterpart to Dark Tutor. Cleverly named Light Student, the hood is white instead of black and the mask is yellow, and instead of looking like a skull has elegant designs around it. The eyes are pitch-black instead of Dark Tutor's glowing orange ones. At a price of 250 robux, I wouldn't recommend buying this unless you just like it. It's not very good-looking on your character.

Cloak of the Everlasting
Cloak of the Everlasting
Cloak of the everlasting was made as the counterpart to Cloak of the Undying. I find it strange that they made this a hat, because Cloak of the Undying is a gear. The cloak itself goes on your back like a cape, not in front. It's held on your body with what looks like a golden wire, and the cloak is coated with angelic-looking feathers. Priced at a high price of 1,000 robux, same as Cloak of the Undying, I would also not recommend buying this. If it was a gear, it was possibly be useful, but it's barely noticeable at all on your character and has no real use.

Random fact: When this was first released, a false rumor started spreading that if you jumped 4 times and then zoomed in, the cloak would turn you invisible. It doesn't, so don't waste your money.

Operation Desert Anticyclone
Operation Jungle Anticyclone
There's not much to say about this. It's probably the least creative of all the parallel universe retextures. It's basically Operation Desert Cyclone, but darker. I don't exactly understand how this is from a parallel universe, besides the "anti" in the name. The hat is cheap, at a price of 35 robux, so if you're into war stuff this is a good buy for you. In my opinion, though, the original looks better.

Silver Aviators
Silver Aviators
This was made as the counterpart to Golden Aviators. Although it's a clever idea, making the shades silver instead of gold, it wasn't the best hat made for the sale. Gold obviously looks better than silver on hats, and gold items are worth more. The shades are priced at 350 robux, same as the golden version. The price should have been reduced, due to the shades being made of a less valuable metal. The shades look pretty awesome on your character, though, so I'd say it's worth the robux. I would recommend buying the gold version, though.

Flame Vision Goggles
Flame Vision Goggles
The final item released during the Parallel Universe sale, these hot-looking goggles[hahahaha bad pun] were made as the counterpart to Frost Vision Goggles. They're priced at a very high amount, 5,000 robux. In my opinion, these goggles look amazing and are definitely worth the robux. However, they seem to be very unpopular as only 53 copies have been sold in over a week, whereas Frost Vision Goggles have accumulated over 850 at the same price. If you're into fire-related items and have a truckload of cash, this is a good buy for you.

This sale wasn't exactly much of a sale, considering none of these items were limited, or have gone offsale. The retextures are pretty awesome, though, and with a few exceptions are definitely worth the money.

Bright Friday Sale Ongoing Overview

Image from the Roblox Blog
Welcome to Roblox's version of the Black Friday sale. I've decided to cover this one myself. The items thus far:

Items on sale (Not going over these in detail. They already exist, and have had their price reduced. Bolded means that it is a new item that I will review):
Tweedsuit's Neon Pink Fedora, Frobow the Sad Clown, Neon Green Animal Hoodie, Mohelmet, Ivory Cat Scarf.

Bright Fighter: 100 Robux, Limited

"There's a lotta darkness out there. Someone's gotta take the reigns of justice and bring the light."
Not a bad hat, in my opinion. This limited, with an original cost of 100 robux, has really nowhere to go but up. With it's 1500 copies sold, it won't exactly be rocketing to space with profit. I'd expect it to max out at 400 robux, maybe hit 420 with some luck. After a few days it'll be in the 200-300s.

Not a bad mesh or texture, in my opinion. Looks (kind of) childish? If you snagged this at it's original price, even if it wasn't limited, I would say it was worth it. If it was more than 100 robux, that's a different story. It seems like it would make for some interesting hat combinations.

Worth it if original buyer.

Neon Green Animal Hoodie: 100 Robux
Neon Green Animal Hoodie
"Show them your wild side in the neon hood!"
Another decent hat to kick off Bright Friday. Also 100 robux, it is the counterpart of the original Red Animal Hoodie. This is a really nice hat for a pretty cheap price.

Worth it.

Mohelmet: 250 Robux, Timer (Expired)
Mohelmet
"Keeping your mohawk fresh - even when you're ridin'."
The third hat to be released, this one is on a 24 hour timer. Strange colors, in my opinion, and it looks like it would be strange on a Roblox character. I don't think it would fit the head too well. I have to say, this one looks a bit childish too. Its 250 robux price is ridiculous.
**Update** It managed to rake in 981 sales. I see no profit in this.
Not worth it.

Ivory Cat Scarf: 1,000 Robux, Timer (Expired)
Ivory Cat Scarf
"Perfect for Wall Street or Main Street! *No virtual cats were harmed in the making of this virtual cat scarf."
This hat has a very nice mesh. It's a good scarf with a realistic texture. It could be combined with lots of hats easily, like most scarfs. But the price? 1,000 robux. In my opinion, if it's more than 500 robux and not limited or on a timer, it's not worth it (unless it's pretty darn awesome). Then again, some people buy solely for looks.
**Update** 395 were sold. Should this go limited, it has potential.

Worth it.

W's Top Hat: 4,500 Robux, Timer (Expired)
W's Top Hat
"The brightest top hat around. You won't find a hat like this anywhere else."
This hat went on a timer for just one hour. It had an original price of 4,500 robux. Don't be completely fooled by how it looks, it's even better in-game. The extremely bright green does ruin some potential for combining it with other hats, but you could throw on that Ivory Cat Scarf with some shades. With 516 sold, the price of 4.5k robux is too high for it not to fail. If you are looking for profit, this hat isn't for you. And again, if you want it for looks?

Worth it (only if for looks).

Light Face Melting Guitar: 300 Robux, Limited
Light Face Melting Guitar
"That heavenly sound that will bring the house (and people's faces) down."

The first gear to be released, it looks great. The mesh is nice and the texture is great. At 300 robux, being an original buyer would be a good deal in my opinion. 1000 were sold, but this would only start to be a problem if it costed more. If you can snag this at a low price, try to do so, but I know I wasn't able. Overall?
**Update** Currently, this is selling for 848 robux, 3 days after it was released.

Worth it (for looks and profit).

Cyan Equinox: 100 Robux, Limited
Cyan Equinox
"That makes even less sense than Rainbow Equinox!?!"
There were 3,500 copies released of this equinox. It is painfully bright in-game, and I found it extremely hard to put together a hat combo for (see my profile for what I came up with). It's currently bouncing around at about 400 robux, which is pretty good for it's massive number sold. The looks are off-putting, but the profit is promising.

Worth it if you have spare cash.

Angel Eyes: 400 Robux

Angel Eyes     The Angel Eyes look...strange. The lenses are poorly made (are those white spots clouds...? Reflected light...?). The thingy that goes back and rests on your ears whose name I cannot remember is also poorly made. For 400 robux...?

Not worth it.

Open Mind Cap: 25 Robux
Open Mind Cap     If not for the low price, I would recommend that nobody bought this at all. The fact that it is 25 robux and there have been only 1,200 sales as of the moment should tip you off. There isn't much to say about this one, it just seems like they got an "OPEN" sign off of Google Images and pasted it on to the texture. If you think it's your style, go for it. I honestly can't say this isn't worth it at a cheap price. So my conclusion will be this:

It's a hat.

Lime Green Shaggy: 500 Robux, Limited

Lime Green Shaggy     One of the bigger items in the sale, it's one of the types that make you want to flip a table for missing it. Even though 1,000 were sold, Shaggy's have a reputation. It immediately began to sell for 2,000-3,000 and continues to at this moment. If you were able to snatch both the Lime Green Shaggy and W's Top Hat, I'm sure they would make a nice combination. I think it's pretty obvious that this one was...

Worth it.

More to be added as the sale continues.

Item Review: September ROBLOX Card Items

ROBLOX Card Items Review

So as everyone knows, a new set of ROBLOX Card items is released around the beginning of every month, each with its own unique theme. August was vikings, July was fedoras and headphones, June was shades, and May was robots. This month, the theme is ninjas.

Blue Ninja Sword Pack
Blue Ninja Sword Pack
An awesome blue retexture of the Deluxe Ninja Swordpack and Classic Swordpack Throwback. It looks basically the same except all of the more vibrant colors have been replaced by a dull shade of blue. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Toys R Us in the United States and Canada.

Shadowy Ninja Assassin
Shadowy Ninja Assassin
The Shadowy Ninja Assassin is a retexture of the regular Ninja Assassin hat. The black part of the hood remained the same, but the red was replaced with the same dull shade of blue found on the Blue Ninja Swordpack, and the blonde hair was remade into a greyish-blue color. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Sainsburys in the United Kingdom.

Angry Ninja Master
Angry Ninja Master
Angry Ninja Master is a retexture of an old 2010 contest prize called Ninja Master. I was somewhat disappointed when I saw this, because the original Ninja Master looks better. Nevertheless, this still looks quite feirce and is defnitely worth it. Angry Ninja Master is a ninja good with angry red eyebrows painted at the top and a demonic-looking mouth painted at the bottom, giving it its "angry" look. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at GAME in the United Kingdom.

Ninja Tie
Ninja Tie
The Ninja Tie, not to be confused with the Ninja Necktie, is a dark-grey tie with 2 words inscribed in Chinese[I think, don't get mad at me if I'm wrong]. As I don't speak any languages besides English, I have no idea what the tie actually says, but the description of the hat says "Elegant and deadly", so that may be what the characters mean. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at London Drugs in Canada.

 Ninja Headphones
Ninja Headphones
Possibly the coolest September ROBLOX Card item. I honestly can't tell whether Ninja Headphones are a retexture or have a brand-new mesh, but they look awesome either way. The top of the headphones is a darkish grey color and the actual headphones have cute little ninja faces on the side. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.

Ultimate Victory Headband
Ultimate Victory Headband
Ultimate Victory Headband is a retexture of the original Ultimate Victory. Ultimate Victory Headband is basically Ultimate Victory inverted. The headband is black instead of white, and the originally black text has been switched to white, with different Japanese letters and larger font size. The only thing that remained the same between the two is the red dot in the center which is symbolising the rising sun of Japan. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at CVS Pharmacy in the United States.

Ninja of the Light
Ninja of the Light
Ninja of the Light is a ROBLOX Card item with a brand-new mesh. What I find interesting about this hat is that it has a neck even though ROBLOXians don't. The hat itself is white, or a very, very light shade of grey. The mouth covering is a darker shade of grey but can also be considered white. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Target in the United States and Canada.

Metal Ninja
Metal Ninja
Metal Ninja is an advanced ninja mask that can protect you from anything. Judging from the joint at the top, I assume the mask is meant to close over your face like armor. Very useful, and it looks great too. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Walmart in the United States and Canada.

Zombie Ninja
Zombie Ninja
Zombie Ninja is an interesting looking ROBLOX Card item for this month. Zombie Ninja has a bluish-black ninja hood with a grotesque zombie face peeking out with only its right eye intact. The hood is detailed and has highlights. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Gamestop in the United States and Ireland, and EB Games in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, making it the most widely available ROBLOX Card item this month.

Monster Ninja
Monster Ninja
Monster Ninja is yet another disturbing ninja item this month. It showcases a dark grey ninja mask with thin red horns sticking out of the top and a green face with red eyes peering out of it. The mask bulges out at the mouth section implying that something truly fearsome awaits underneath it. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Best Buy in the United States and can be found at Gamestop and Future Shop Canada.

Seein' Shurikens
Seein' Shurikens
Seein' Shurikens is a retexture of Night Shades. The shades are a very dark shade of purple becoming lighter at the bottom, and the rims are dark grey with shurikens decorating the sides. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at 7-11 in Canada.

Darkest Ninja Hood
Darkest Ninja Hood
Darkest Ninja Hood is one of the few ROBLOX Card items for September that has its own mesh. The hood, like most of the other ninja masks, is dark grey. It has a metal attachment on top with a kenji symbol written on it in black. I honestly can't tell what's coming out of the side of it. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at Walmart in the United States and Canada and ASDA in the United Kingdom.

Flame Ronin Katana
Flame Ronin Katana
The Flame Ronin Katana is a retexture of the original Katana gear and is one of the only 2 exclusive gear featured this month. The handle of the katana looks rusted, or at least has a rusty color, and the middle of the sword is gold. The blade of the katana looks rough rather than smooth iron. ROBLOX Cards for this item can be found at FYE in the United States.

Ace Ranger
Ace Ranger
And lastly, the monthly ROBLOX Card package. The package this month is Ace Ranger, and in my opinion it is the ugliest package so far. The arms of the package have green shoulderblades with silver spikes sticking out, a brown spiked wristband on the left arm and a black glove on the right arm. The torso has a brown leather vest and a thick, ugly-green belt. The legs have nothing but large brown boots. The hat that comes with the package is the Ace Ranger Mohawk, which is small, doesn't go good with combos and is just poor-looking. The gear that comes with it is the only thing that looks somewhat nice, the Ace Ranger Axe. The axe's handle alternates between black and red and has a spike on the end of it. The blade of the ace has a unique shape and a large hole in the middle of it. This package can only be obtained from a $40 Gamestop card in the United States. I say save your money for other card items, or for something you want in real life, because it definitely is not worth it.

Well, that was my summary of all the September ROBLOX Card Items. Most of them are very good, with a few notable exceptions. As of the publishing of this article, there are 11 days left until they become unavailable.

Gear Friday Overview: Invisible Gear

Hello! Pbjms here with another Gear Friday Overview. Unlike the past two weeks, three gears were made instead of two. One of them being limited, the Vanishing Ninja Star. The other two gears were the ROBLOX Invisicar, and Trololo Cape of Invisibility.

ROBLOX Invisicar
ROBLOX Invisicar

"The Admin-engineered ROBLOX Invisicar - moving ROBLOXians forward since... earlier today."
Mesh: There really isn't much to this mesh, but it looks great. It is mainly just a steering wheel, with a center circle and connectors from the outer circle to the inner one. Although there is nothing big about this mesh, it looks great - 9.5/10.
--------------------------
Texture: The texture, like the mesh, isn't much but it still looks great. The majority of the wheel is black, with shadows and textures to make it look nice. The connectors are whitish grey. The center circle has a ROBLOX 'R' on it, inside of two white circles. Alike the mesh, I'm giving the texture a 9.5/10.
--------------------------
Price: This invisible car is priced at 375 Robux, A bit too much for a transportation gear. All it does is let you drive around a map in an "invisible car" with headlights, which is almost the same as many other gears. It is a bit overpriced for an ability that is getting pretty common, so it gets a 8/10.
--------------------------
Ability: Like I said above, the ability is very common. You drive around the map with a steering wheel and headlights in front of you. Very similar to too many other gears, some being priced less than this gear. I'm giving the ability, like the price, a 7/10.

Overall: 8.5/10

Trololo Cape of Invisibility
Trololo Cape of Invisibility
"Now you see me - now you don't! Turns yourself invisible and reappear as if out of thin air!"

Mesh: The mesh is pretty lazily done. It is pretty much the same cape mesh that I have seen used a lot of other times. Although I cannot recall the other gears it is used it, there are others, bringing this mesh's score down to 8/10.
--------------------------
Texture: Like the mesh, the texture isn't very great. It is colored grey, with shadows showing some wrinkles. The bottom is silver, and the top is darker grey. What makes it look weird is the fact that there are moons and stars all over the cape, which doesn't have much to do with invisibility - 8/10.
--------------------------
Price: The cape is priced at 750 Robux, very overpriced for this gear. First off, it doesn't look great. And more importantly, it's ability really isn't worth that much. It allows you to be invisible, slowly walk around, and then when you show yourself, your enemies get all confused. I'm giving the price a 6/10, as it is probably the most overpriced gear this Friday.
--------------------------
Ability: As I said above, the ability is pretty useless and annoying. When you use it, you have the ability to be invisible. You then slowly walk around, and have the chance to show yourself, spooking people around you and making their controls get messed up. It's annoying and pretty useless - 7/10.

Overall: 7.5/10

Vanishing Ninja Star
Vanishing Ninja Star
""Your foes won't even know what hit 'em. They won't even see it coming." - Stickmasterluke"

Mesh: The mesh looks great, a ninja star mesh the same as this classic one. It has four pointed parts, which is what damages your foe. In the center is a hole for you to hold the star with. It looks great, but it's a recycled mesh, so I'm giving it a 9/10.
--------------------------
Texture: The texture is great. The main star is colored grey. White smoke is being shot down the points away from the hole. Along with the white smoke are grey symbols. It all fits together nicely, so I'm giving it a 9.5/10.
--------------------------
Price: The star was priced at 400 Robux, and was a Limited U item. It is currently selling for about 800 Robux. It's making about 150 Robux profit, which really isn't that much, so I'm giving it an 8/10.
--------------------------
Ability: It's ability is simple. It's a ninja star. You throw it, it hit somebody, they get damaged. The catch is: after it flies away from you for a bit, it fades out, and turns invisible - but still flies. So your enemy can't see it coming, and most certainly can't dodge it. It's actually a really great ability, so I'm giving it a 9/10.

Overall: 8.5/10
