Admin Week

Go admins!

Hello readers, RayMan36 here with the biggest pun-fest on roblox. I'm talking about the Admin weekend items.
You might ask, why am I so late on this? The reason is because Roblox just finished it up with an item from this musical themed weekend. (I might write a post on that later).
I'll be ordering these by worst to best items.

Conversations with Myself: Limited Items (Part 1)

Conversations with Myself;

Limited Items  (Part 1)
FiniteBlox

Hello, FiniteBlox here. I decided to share my opinion about the Catalog today, and thought to myself, "What better way to do that then talking to myself?" So here you have it, me talking to myself about the Catalog (specifically Limited Items).

Me:
I think having a conversation with myself is a wonderful idea.
Me:
Shut up. We're supposed to talk about the catalog.
Me:
Fine, fine. The catalog, right. I myself am a little bit of a trader, with roughly 14k RAP worth. I thought I might throw together something explaining the catalog a bit, and what makes limited items rise and fall in price.
Me:
I'll start off with the original sales of limiteds. When a limited sells out, prices skyrocket. Other users see that they missed an item, and want to try to snag it.
Me:
Yes, and when that happens, limiteds rise very fast. But on limiteds that have sold for especially low and have many owners, there are more people competing for lowest price. At benchmark numbers, such as 200, 250, 275, there will often be five or more sellers.
Me:
This severely slows down how fast the limited sells. It stays at the same price for several sales, leaving more time for people to try to sell for lower.
Me:
Lots of times, this is how a limited starts to fall to a more reasonable price. The hype slowly ends, though this can take days (or will never happen, depending on what reputation the limited has in other members of its series).
Me:
That's the beginning of a limited over-explained. When the limited is past the original hype, the demand either dies, it raises, or it lowers.
Me:
I'll begin with how they raise.
Me:
I was going to begin...
Me:
As I was saying, limiteds tend raise in price after a plummet in demand. Take the Azurewrath: Duke of Demons for example.
Me:
What exactly is the chart supposed to prove?
Me:
It's just there for reference. The Azurewrath, one of my old limiteds, is horribly low in demand. This happens when a limited's price raises faster than its demand. It sells maybe once, and owners raise prices to above what remotely makes sense. Slowly, over time, users will trade it away. The people who received it saw it and thought, "Easy profit." They combat for lowest price, and now that the price is near the RAP, it sells. This causes a huge jump in RAP. Note that this is just one way that a limited can raise.

Me:
Yeah, because we're too lazy to explain the other ways!
Me:
Sh...
Me:
So terribly lazy, in fact, that this is being split into two parts.
Me:
Part two will cover ways that limiteds lower and lose demand. That'll be all for this part, though!

.
Do you think I'm a complete noob when it comes to limiteds? PM (or tweet) me what I messed up, and I'll slap it in Part 2.

Tweet tweet. @FiniteBlox
Thanks for reading,

Black Friday: Limiteds Review

BlackFridayTag
Courtesy of ROBLOX
Hello! Pbjms here. Like every year, ROBLOX hosts a Black Friday sale. While everybody else in the world is out camping and getting killed for some televisions, you are sitting back in the comfort of your own home, waiting out on the next limited item to be made. While everybody waits it out, I'll be waiting for the new  limited too, except after I buy it or ignore it, I'll write about it right here in this post. And yes, this will only be about the limiteds, because I'm pretty sure that's all that people care about - right?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over a week before the sale started, Brighteyes released a poll about what items the users wanted limited, put on-sale, and discounted, but nothing about retexture. This disappointed many people, but a retexture contest was announced a few days later on Retexture Artists Official Channel. The winners would get their items published. On the Tuesday before Black Friday, another poll was announced where users voted between a few hats as to what would go back on-sale as a discount, or just go back on-sale for the remainder of the weekend.

The sale started on Friday the 29th of November, very early in the morning, around midnight central time.

CYANIME SUPER STAR (NEW)

Cyanime Super Star
"How foolish..."
VERY early in the morning, like, around midnight central time, this limited was released. It was 150 R$, and sold out pretty quickly. It is now selling for about 450 R$, which is a nice improvement from the original price. It looks awful, though. It's one of those hair items that I originally didn't like, but colored with bright neon colors to make it even worse. Oh well, it made a little profit, and that's all that matters, anyway.

I'll give this a 8/10. It made some profit but doesn't look too good.

Win

                                                STEAMPUNK ROBIN HOOD (NEW)

Steampunk Robin Hood
"You've just entered the territory of
Robin Hood and his Merry Men."
At the promised time of 5:00 AM Central, this hat was released. It was only 10 R$, which, for the price of a limited, is amazing, seeing as how, it can't fail. Really, it can't, unless it sells for under the original price, which is just plain outrageous, seeing as how cheap it originally was. It took hours to sell out due to a 10,000 stock, but still won due to the amazingly cheap price. It started at around double the original price, then quickly rose to become very profitable. Unlike the wig hair above, this also looks really cool, so that's a big plus.

I'll give this a 9/10, because of how profitable it is, and how it is pretty cool looking.

Win

BUSINESS CAT (NEW)

Business Cat
"Get in my office, right meow!"
A few hours after the Steampunk Robin Hood hat, ROBLOX released this business spiffy cat. It was 100 R$ with 2,000 in stock. Like the Robin Hood hat, this can't really fail, unless it sells for under 100 R$, which was very unlikely. It ended up selling for a bit over the original price, making profit but not much profit. As for the looks... it's mainly just a creepy floating cat head with a collar and a tie. Aside from the awful cat pun in the description, this hat really isn't that bad.

I guess I'll give this a 8/10. It's profitable, and it looks okay, but I can do without the description. I had enough cat puns at The Witching Hour, thank you.

Meh

                                                     W'S TOP HAT (WENT LIMITED)

W's Top Hat
"The brightest top hat around. You won't find
a hat like this anywhere else."

Finally, the long awaited W's Top Hat went limited. After going back on sale during Bright Friday, I knew this would go limited due to the attention raised about it. Anyway, it was originally 4,500 R$, and is now limited, much to many people's disapproval. It started selling for about double the original price, making little profit, but still some profit. I'm expecting this to raise in the future, anyway, due to it's originality and bright look. It reminds me of JJ5x5's top hat, which was much more robux to start off and had more in stock, yet still barely failed. W's Top Hat will raise more, and won't fail, no matter what the raging people say.

I'm giving this a 8/10 for now, because I don't know the true potential of this top hat. Yet.

Win

FLAMING HOTPHONES (WENT LIMITED)

Flaming Hotphones
"The headphones are hot,
but the beats are cool."
Shortly after W's Top Hat went limited, Flaming Hotphones followed. They were originally 250 R$ to parody the Ice Coldphones during parallel universe weekend, but are now limited. The are pretty much selling for a little over their original price, which makes absolutely no profit, and you lose money. Pretty much, they're a fail. The only plus is their red hot look, which is really nice and fitting the "flaming hotphones" theme of the hat. Anyways,  besides the price fail which could easily be expected, these headphones are nice looking. Well, this isn't really a review of the headphones because they aren't new, they just went limited. So...

This gets a 5/10, just because it failed.

Fail

                                                FOREST EMERALD CREST (NEW)

"These emeralds were acquired in the
deepest ROBLOXian forests. Rare and
powerful, they must be safe guarded."
On the second day of the sale, we got a new Emerald Crest hat early in the morning. It was a limited, 1,000 R$ with 500 in stock. After taking a while to sell out, it started selling for just over the original price, and began failing. The profit with this item is about -200 R$. So yeah, it failed. It really doesn't look very appealing either - it looks all old and rusty, and well, ugly. To sum it up, it failed badly, doesn't look good, and well, isn't good.

So, this gets a 5/10, due to the negative amount of profit and pretty ugly look. It could have been better, a lot better.

A lot better.

Fail

BUCKET (WENT LIMITED)

Bucket
"I HAS A BUCKET."
The most wonderful thing on ROBLOX. Buckets. This bucket was an old item, a very old item. How do I know it's old? The creation date? Nope. It's so old, that it was selling for tix. Yes, Tix. 7331 Tix to be exact, which is about 700 R$. It started selling for about 1,000 R$ which is about the same price as starting in tix. It lowered, it raised, it stayed the same, but it's not making any profit. And, in the ROBLOX business, that's called a fail limited.

I'm giving this an 8/10. Why so high? Well, the description pretty much made my day. Who knew ROBLOX used to be such a troll? I didn't.

Just kidding. I did.

Meh

                                                        HOODED FROSTLORD (NEW)

"He is frozen forever and ever."
The "big item" of the sale came out on Sunday, just like last year. The Frostlord was originally on sale for 50,000 R$ with 55 in stock. This caused MANY people to rage, and others to be humored by said rage. The ragers expected it to be cheap and rare, but if you take a look at the previous Hooded Spacelord, I don't see why people would expect this to be cheap. Anyways, it sold out eventually and began to fail, which didn't really surprise anybody. It sold for about 70,000 R$, which gives no profit at all. On the bright side, we have the appearance of the item! Just kidding. It's awful, it's terribly ugly. It looks like somebody took the original Spacelord and threw it into a freezer overnight. (No offense Errorless)

So, I'm giving this a 3/10, the lowest score so far this sale. Why? This hat is awful.

No. Just no.

BLACK IRON WARHELM OF PWNAGE (WENT LIMITED)

"Sometimes ambassadors
need to get medieval."
This hat is probably one of the biggest wins in ROBLOX history. Lets have a little history lesson, shall we? Every year in December, ROBLOX releases some gifts. The gifts have a special way to get them. In 2009, there was a gift called Well Connected Gift of Linkmaster. You had to have the Ambassador badge to get it for free.It gave this hat, the Warhelm of Pwnage. Now, it's gone limited. So, of course, everybody from 2009 that got this decided to make it expensive. You'd think it would just be a few thousand robux, but no. It sold for OVER 30,000 R$. HOLY PROFIT! Plus, it looks amazing.

So, I'm giving this an 11/10, because it's like, the perfect item.

Epic Win

                                               NAVAL BRIGADE (WENT LIMITED)

"Ship to shore, they're your
men for sure!"
Naval Brigade was made a few months ago, and originally sold for 70 R$. I don't know why, but the polls spoke, and this went limited. It was selling for about 5x the price, which made a lot of profit. It's pretty ugly, also.. Who would want to wear this thing on their head? It's like, a deformed sailor cap. Anyways, it profited, so that's all that really matters.

In the end, I'm giving this a 8/10. It profited nicely, although it looks terribly ugly. Oh well, polls will be polls.

Win

                              Other:
These are some other items that were effected during the sale that I think should be mentioned in this post.
  • Frenemy, an old, classic hat, went on sale for 500 R$.
  • Flame Vision Goggles were sold at 50% off, though originally stayed at 5,000 R$, yet saying in the description it was on sale, taking a few minutes to eventually be fixed.
  • Bluesteel Antlers went on sale for 20,000 R$ on a 30 minute timer, causing much rage and shock on the forums. Of course, I bought it. Why? ...Why not? Stay tuned to my next post to find out!
  • Superhero, the already cheap package, was randomly discounted by 66%. Why?
  • Blackvalk, the outrageously ugly and overpriced hat that I can only refer to as a "thing" was put on sale for 25% off. Wow! 750,000 Tix is a lot better than one million!
  • Brilliant Bombastique went on sale for 100 R$ for only 15 minutes!
  • Silverthorn Antlers went back on sale for 400 R$ like last year, officially ruining them even more.
  • Tentacles Junior, another squid hat, went on sale for the cheap price of 909 R$.
  • On the last day of the sale, the first Christmas Gift was released, the Well Outfitted Gift of Style.

Besides a few disappointments, this sale was really good. We got the return of some classic items, along with some great new ones!

Double Hat Review: Lime Green Shaggy & Cyan Equinox!

Hey guys today I’m bringing you a double hat review of Lime Green Shaggy and Cyan Equinox, both of my favorite items from this Bright Friday sale so first off let’s talk about Lime Green Shaggy!

Lime Green Shaggy:

Texture: 5/10

The texture is pretty bland, just an all green texture with a little swirl in the middle to represent the shaggy. It also has tiny black streaks going through the hair but they are almost un-noticeable. I think the texture was good for a shaggy but compared to other textures I give this a 5/10.

Mesh: 8/10

The mesh is a classic. It’s the same mesh used for all the limited shaggys ever created on Roblox.  The mesh is just like somebody’s real life hair, long hair pushed off to the side. The mesh its self is very basic and simple but just because it’s a classic I give it an 8/10.

Price: 7/10

This shaggy was originally released for 500 robux with 1000 in stock and is now selling 4X its original price so obviously this is a massive win for the original owners but compared to other shaggys it didn't make that much profit so I give it 7/10.

Cyan Equinox:

Texture: 5/10

Cyan Equinox is a very nice hat but the texture itself is meh… The texture is very plain it’s just bright bluish (Cyan) with hardly noticeable black streaks going through it just like on Lime Green Shaggy. Overall I give the texture 5/10 just like lime green shaggy because the style of the textures are very similar except Cyan Equinox is blue and Lime green shaggy is green.

Mesh: 9/10

I LOVE this mesh; it is by far one of my favorite meshes released during this sale, it fits perfectly, it looks perfect and looks very nice with other hats especially Lime Green Shaggy, the only thing I don’t like is the fact it’s a little small. It is also a reused mesh from the other Equinoxs. Overall I give it 9/10.

Price: 9/10

The price for this item was quite good; it originally sold for 100 robux with 3500 in stock and is now selling from 600-100 robux, so a lot of profit. The only reason I didn’t give this a 10/10 was because of the other limited Equinox named Rainbow Equinox which made much more profit then Cyan Equinox.

Comparison:

Overall Cyan Equinox is my favorite between Lime Green Shaggy and Cyan Equinox just because it looks nicer on my avatar. I hope you enjoyed this article,Thanks for reading!

Potential Profit? - W's Top Hat

Potential Profit? - W's Top Hat

Hello readers! TheInnovative here.... who? I'm catalog analyst chubbs21 who happened to change his username to something more "professional" in a way. You can still call me chubbs if you want, but that's not the point. The point is, does W's Top Hat have a potential profit? Or will it fail?

History of Sales
The W's Top hat was created in 2009 for whitelite001 and originally had 85 sales at 4,500 ROBUX each before going off-sale. As the years passed, the hat got rarer and rarer. It eventually got to the point where under 10 people who owned it still played ROBLOX actively. People offered millions for this hat for when it would go limited. This hat was at a predicted worth of about 1.5M in value.

Bright Friday Sale 2013
In 2013, two weeks before Black Friday, ROBLOX held a Bright Friday Sale. You can read all about what happened that weekend here. The Friday of this sale at 6:00 PM EST, the W's Top Hat came back onsale for 4,500 robux by the request of the user Mechawaffle. The W's Top Hat was on a one hour timer and sold 431 more copies making a total of 516 total sales. Most people agreed this classic was ruined and bought only for looks.

Future Potential Profit
It is unclear if this hat will go limited in the future but chances are it will. How much will it be worth? Let's look into limiteds with about 500 sales. Happy Time Top Hat had almost 500 sales and originally sold for somewhat more than W's Top Hat. When it first went limited it was worth a good 150k and had some high demand. Slowly it came to collapse to a 20-30k value. This is because there were so many copies in circulation at the time people easily found people who would lower their price. What does this mean for W's Top Hat? Well, let's put it this way. Based on that information, W's Top Hat might start out pretty well, but it won't last long. The Let's Make a Deal forum calls this situation a hype, or brief period of time when a limited first is limited and demand is high. W's Top Hat may end up with a simple 15-20k. But the thing that most will no understand, yes it still IS profit. 4.5k to 20k is a pretty good investment. But the investment wont be like what most expect.

Bright Friday Sale Ongoing Overview

Image from the Roblox Blog
Welcome to Roblox's version of the Black Friday sale. I've decided to cover this one myself. The items thus far:

Items on sale (Not going over these in detail. They already exist, and have had their price reduced. Bolded means that it is a new item that I will review):
Tweedsuit's Neon Pink Fedora, Frobow the Sad Clown, Neon Green Animal Hoodie, Mohelmet, Ivory Cat Scarf.

Bright Fighter: 100 Robux, Limited

"There's a lotta darkness out there. Someone's gotta take the reigns of justice and bring the light."
Not a bad hat, in my opinion. This limited, with an original cost of 100 robux, has really nowhere to go but up. With it's 1500 copies sold, it won't exactly be rocketing to space with profit. I'd expect it to max out at 400 robux, maybe hit 420 with some luck. After a few days it'll be in the 200-300s.

Not a bad mesh or texture, in my opinion. Looks (kind of) childish? If you snagged this at it's original price, even if it wasn't limited, I would say it was worth it. If it was more than 100 robux, that's a different story. It seems like it would make for some interesting hat combinations.

Worth it if original buyer.

Neon Green Animal Hoodie: 100 Robux
Neon Green Animal Hoodie
"Show them your wild side in the neon hood!"
Another decent hat to kick off Bright Friday. Also 100 robux, it is the counterpart of the original Red Animal Hoodie. This is a really nice hat for a pretty cheap price.

Worth it.

Mohelmet: 250 Robux, Timer (Expired)
Mohelmet
"Keeping your mohawk fresh - even when you're ridin'."
The third hat to be released, this one is on a 24 hour timer. Strange colors, in my opinion, and it looks like it would be strange on a Roblox character. I don't think it would fit the head too well. I have to say, this one looks a bit childish too. Its 250 robux price is ridiculous.
**Update** It managed to rake in 981 sales. I see no profit in this.
Not worth it.

Ivory Cat Scarf: 1,000 Robux, Timer (Expired)
Ivory Cat Scarf
"Perfect for Wall Street or Main Street! *No virtual cats were harmed in the making of this virtual cat scarf."
This hat has a very nice mesh. It's a good scarf with a realistic texture. It could be combined with lots of hats easily, like most scarfs. But the price? 1,000 robux. In my opinion, if it's more than 500 robux and not limited or on a timer, it's not worth it (unless it's pretty darn awesome). Then again, some people buy solely for looks.
**Update** 395 were sold. Should this go limited, it has potential.

Worth it.

W's Top Hat: 4,500 Robux, Timer (Expired)
W's Top Hat
"The brightest top hat around. You won't find a hat like this anywhere else."
This hat went on a timer for just one hour. It had an original price of 4,500 robux. Don't be completely fooled by how it looks, it's even better in-game. The extremely bright green does ruin some potential for combining it with other hats, but you could throw on that Ivory Cat Scarf with some shades. With 516 sold, the price of 4.5k robux is too high for it not to fail. If you are looking for profit, this hat isn't for you. And again, if you want it for looks?

Worth it (only if for looks).

Light Face Melting Guitar: 300 Robux, Limited
Light Face Melting Guitar
"That heavenly sound that will bring the house (and people's faces) down."

The first gear to be released, it looks great. The mesh is nice and the texture is great. At 300 robux, being an original buyer would be a good deal in my opinion. 1000 were sold, but this would only start to be a problem if it costed more. If you can snag this at a low price, try to do so, but I know I wasn't able. Overall?
**Update** Currently, this is selling for 848 robux, 3 days after it was released.

Worth it (for looks and profit).

Cyan Equinox: 100 Robux, Limited
Cyan Equinox
"That makes even less sense than Rainbow Equinox!?!"
There were 3,500 copies released of this equinox. It is painfully bright in-game, and I found it extremely hard to put together a hat combo for (see my profile for what I came up with). It's currently bouncing around at about 400 robux, which is pretty good for it's massive number sold. The looks are off-putting, but the profit is promising.

Worth it if you have spare cash.

Angel Eyes: 400 Robux

Angel Eyes     The Angel Eyes look...strange. The lenses are poorly made (are those white spots clouds...? Reflected light...?). The thingy that goes back and rests on your ears whose name I cannot remember is also poorly made. For 400 robux...?

Not worth it.

Open Mind Cap: 25 Robux
Open Mind Cap     If not for the low price, I would recommend that nobody bought this at all. The fact that it is 25 robux and there have been only 1,200 sales as of the moment should tip you off. There isn't much to say about this one, it just seems like they got an "OPEN" sign off of Google Images and pasted it on to the texture. If you think it's your style, go for it. I honestly can't say this isn't worth it at a cheap price. So my conclusion will be this:

It's a hat.

Lime Green Shaggy: 500 Robux, Limited

Lime Green Shaggy     One of the bigger items in the sale, it's one of the types that make you want to flip a table for missing it. Even though 1,000 were sold, Shaggy's have a reputation. It immediately began to sell for 2,000-3,000 and continues to at this moment. If you were able to snatch both the Lime Green Shaggy and W's Top Hat, I'm sure they would make a nice combination. I think it's pretty obvious that this one was...

Worth it.

More to be added as the sale continues.

ROBLOX Labor Day Sale Summary

Hello, everybody. Axelthehedgehog here with my first blog post in quite a long time. I'll be summarizing the absolutely horrible Labor Day "sale", if you can even call it that, in this article.

I apologize in advance if some of my information is off. I didn't actually pay very good attention to what happened during this sale; the discounts, the limiteds, etc. But I'll do my best.

Firstly, I'll review the actual sales of the sale.

Mr. Tentacles
Mr. Tentacles
Mr. Tentacles was discounted to 7,070 robux from its original price of 9,090 robux. A decent discount, although I remember getting it for only 5,050 robux during a previous sale, so it could've been better. It is currently still discounted.

Snake Eyes
Snake Eyes
Snake Eyes, eyewear popular among online daters, was discounted to 100 robux from its original price of 150 robux. It is currently still discounted.

Fried Chicken Fedora
Fried Chicken Fedora
The Fried Chicken Fedora, a hat that came out pretty recently, was discounted to 1,000 robux from its original price of 1,261 robux. Again, I remember this being up for 750 robux when it first was released, so the sale could've been lower.

Father Time
Father Time
Father time was discounted to 450 robux from its original price of 550 robux.

RAIG Table
RAIG Table
The RAIG Table, a gear based off of a popular text meme, was discounted to 200 robux from its original price of 300 robux.

Cloak of the Undying
Cloak of the Undying
Cloak of the Undying, an item discounted in many sales in the past, was discounted again. Sadly I never saw what the discount was, but I believe it was somewhere in the range of 500 - 800 robux from its original price of 1,000 robux.

Fallen Artemis Bow
Fallen Artemis Bow
The Fallen Artemis Bow, an awesome-looking gear, was discounted to 1,250 robux from its original price of 2,500 robux, possibly the largest discount in the sale.

Ro-torcycle
Ro-torcycle
The ro-torcycle was discounted to 500 robux from its original price of 1,000 robux.

Next, I'll review the offsale items that were put back onsale for a limited time.

Stage Prop
Stage Prop
The Stage Prop, an extremely popular ticket hat among less wealthy users, was voted back onsale after going offsale less than a month earlier. It went onsale at a ridiculous price of 100 robux. A cheap price, but considering the original price was a mere 50 tickets, it definitely should have been lower - there were no ticket hats in this sale.

Nuclear Arms
Nuclear Arms
Nuclear Arms, a gear I thought to be somewhat unpopular, was put back onsale at a price of 1,000 robux. It didn't sell too many times.

Wizards of the Astral Isles: Pegasus
Wizards of the Astral Isles: Pegasus
The very fun gear Wizards of the Astral Isles: Pegasus went back onsale for its original price of 2,000 robux.

Katana of the Ninth Moon
Katana of the Ninth Moon
The Katana of the Ninth Moon, a pretty rare gear, went back onsale for its original price of 5,000 robux, and sold quite a lot of times considering its expense.
Teapot Hat
Teapot Hat
Now call me a rager or a crybaby if you want, but I was absolutely outraged by the Teapot Hat. Not the fact that it came back onsale - in fact it was the one hat I was truly looking forward to getting - but the ludicrous price it was put at. A whopping 20,000 robux!!! Its original price was only 1,337 robux, and I was hoping it would be that or at least close to it. But 20,000, that's just ridiculous.

Brighteyes claimed on her twitter when asked about the idiotic price that she made it that expensive to "keep it rare". But other classic hats, such as Biggerhead, Silverthorn Antlers, and Red Stetson went onsale for their original prices disproving BE's logic.

To top off the ridiculousness, the Teapot Hat was only onsale for about 4 hours, giving Teapot lovers very few time to scrape together their 20K and buy it. I myself was not able to buy it because I was not expecting such a huge price jump.

Next I'll summarize the items that went limited.

Mr. Hatbot
Mr. Hatbot
Mr. Hatbot actually would've made a good profit if roblox hasn't announced to everyone that it was going limited. Everyone with 5k robux to spare went and bought themselves a Mr. Hatbot mistakenly thinking that they could profit. It is currently selling at a failing price of around 3,500 robux as opposed to its original 5,000.

Deluxe Ninja Swordpack
Deluxe Ninja Swordpack
Because making the original Swordpack limited apparently wasn't bad enough, the community voted the Deluxe version onsale. As expected with the high price and massive number of sales, it failed and is selling for around its original price of 250 robux, a failing price when you include the tax.

Ice Coldphones
Ice Coldphones
Another poor choice of an item to go limited, Ice Coldphones are selling for just above their original price at around 325 - 350 robux, a small fail.

Emerald Clawed OneCanute the Great
Canute the Great   &  Emerald Clawed One

The two ROBLOX Card-only items Emerald Clawed One and Canute the Great went limited during the sale as well. Canute the Great was bought by a user with very poor judgment for 10,000 robux when it first went limited because of the hype. Despite the massive first sale, it's currently selling at a measly price of only 300 robux. Emerald Clawed One is selling for around 250.

Bluesteel Domino Crown
Bluesteel Domino Crown
The only item that went limited during the sale and didn't sell for failing prices. With the going limited of the Bluesteel Domino Crown, the entire Domino Crown series is now limited. The Bluesteel Domino Crown initially was hyped up and was up[but never sold] at prices of 200,000 - 500,000 robux. As the hype died down and more owners got online to sell, it dropped to prices of 100 - 150,000 robux and its first official sale was at a price of about 93,000 robux.

Next I'll review brand-new hats.

Skool Champion
Skool Champion
Skool Champion is a cool-looking iron helmet with not some sort of animal tusks, but PENCILS for horns. Priced at a cheap price of 150 robux.

King of the Classroom
King of the Classroom
King of the Classroom is a regal-looking crown, but with classroom elements replacing fancy metals and elegant gems. Erasers design the front of the crown with crayons and one large pencil surrounding the inside. Priced at a fairly cheap 200 robux, a good price for a crown.

Firebrand Wings
Firebrand Wings
The Firebrand Wings came out pretty late at night. Their original price was 300 robux and 1500 were sold. At first they sold at prices of 600 - 800 robux because people were desperate for last-minute sale money, but as the sale ended and the hype decreased, it casually rose to prices of 1,250 - 1,500 robux, a price range I think a pair of awesome-looking dragon wings deserves.

Leopard Fedora

Leopard Fedora & LOLzard
LOLzard
These 2 hats aren't actually new, but they were both glitched and unbuyable when released. They both had the same price, 150 robux, and were both onsale for about 24 hours. Almost 3x as many Leopard Fedoras sold as LOLzards, but I guess I can understand why people would want a snazzy-looking animal fedora rather than a lizard that sits on your face.

And now, everyone's favorite part of a sale: the retextures!

Back to School for N00bs
Back to School for N00bs
A retexture nobody was expecting, a limited book hat. Its original price was 100 robux and it sold 2500 copies. It's currently selling for roughly 2x its original price making a small profit for any original owners. It was a retexture of an actual user retexture named 'ROBLOX for Noobs' - by ninjabart122.

Flying Nightmare
Flying Nightmare
Another very unexpected retexture, a red version of the Royal Faerie Wings. Its original price was 900 robux and it sold 1000 copies. Even though it was cheaper and had the same stock as the Royal Faerie Wings, it is currently selling at about 1,250 robux, an unfortunate fail of a price.

Snow Leopard Fedora
Snow Leopard Fedora by Voxhall
Voxhall's Snow Leopard Fedora was published a few hours after the original Leopard Fedora. It is 150 robux, an excellent price for such a good-looking hat, and is currently still onsale.

Black Iron Bucket of Ultimate Pwnage
Black Iron Bucket of Ultimate Pwnage by godsend
The retexture that everyone was looking forward to the most, the Black Iron Bucket of Ultimate Pwnage. It was priced at a very high 13,337 robux and was on sale for about 13 hours. Despite the fact that it wasn't limited, which I'm sure disappointed many bucket-lovers, it sold over 600 times in the time it was onsale. If it goes limited any time this year, and possibly any time next, it will probably fail because of its high price and high number of sales, but it looks absolutely awesome and is a cool item to own.

Duke of the Federation
Duke of the Federation
And finally, the hugest and most valuable item in the sale by far, Duke of the Federation. The texture for this hat was leaked on Let's Make a Deal, but not many people expected Roblox would actually go through with making ANOTHER Lord of the Federation. But sure enough, it came out in the middle of one of the sale days. Its original price was a massive 100,000 robux and it sold 25 copies. Despite its high stock[for an item that expensive], it sold out in less than a minute. It was first sold for 1,000,000 robux and the largest value it was ever traded for was Ice Crown[2.8M+] + Rainbow Shaggy[800k - 1M] + Illumina[1 - 1.2M] + ): Purple Indy[300 - 350k]

Well, in my personal opinion, the sale was a huge disappointment. Most of the discounts were too low to be exciting, the limiteds were either too cheap to make a decent profit or too expensive for the majority of roblox to even afford, and the items that went back on sale were close to 20x their original prices.

This "sale", if it even deserves the title of "sale", was, in this blogger's opinion, the worst one we've had by far. I really hope roblox blows us away with the next one, because this really knocked off some respect points.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my wordwall on the Labor Day Sale. Message me on roblox if you have any questions about this article or about the sale.
