So how do they work?
Simple. Each intern will be assigned to a Roblox News staff member, effectively shadowing them for their time as an intern. You will learn skills specific to the job you shadow, so there is a broader range of opportunities in some respects. With an internship, you can focus on one specific job or skill, whereas usual staff members may have to perform different roles at once, then can they learn these job specific skills and use in the future. Interns may want to stay on the team but may also want to move on and try other things.
How to apply:
Send an application to robloxnewshelp@live.co.uk, titled 'Summer Intern'. We will need your ROBLOX Username and your twitter account link, if you have one.
This application will include: why you would like to become an intern, what jobs you would like to perform and who you would want to shadow, what skills you have and what skills you would like to obtain by the end of the program. We would also like to know what you would change about Roblox News if you had the choice. The application should be around 2 paragraphs minimum, if you would like a higher chance of being chosen: include a sample article about anything to do with ROBLOX.
This is not the last time we are hiring interns, or regular staff for that matter, so if you don't get in this time, don't give up!
Good luck to all applicants!
