LMAD (Let's make a deal)is a great place to buy and sell your limited items. Rather than spamming users inbox with your limited item, you can not make a forum post and have users bid and haggle on it. Users want to make a profit so do not make an over the top price for your item. My suggestion is to let people bid for it and haggle.
One way to decrease your chances of buyers is to not have an open mind. You should always be reasonable and hear peoples offer for your limited hat or gear. It is great to have a closing/final winning price set for your item. Check the on average price for your item. Make sure you closing price is in compliance and not way above or below. The average price is located under any limited hat or gear. It is also shown in more detail below the price, in the graph.
Another item to be aware of in LMAD is to sound professional.
No one wants to buy a limited item from someone who has improper grammar or sounds snotty and bratty.
