I started playing Roblox in 2009, when I was in fifth grade. I was on my old profile back then, miniman2605. My friend got me hooked when a new Halo RPG came out, resulting in explosions, Bloxxed Robloxians, and of course, sparked my love for team vs. team wars. This lead to my love of Groups, and I tend to become very sucked into groups very easily. I accept Friend Requests often, Answer all PM's and am currently working on Re-vamping my group, Infesco Armed Forces. But anyways, you guys aren't here to hear about that! Here is my life in a nutshell...

PaleEclipse: New Summer Intern!
Hi, I'm Pale a new summer intern at Roblox news.
I joined in 2013, when a friend of mine was moving away he gave me my ROBOX account as a present. As soon as I started playing the first game I played was Paintball, by daxter33. I was hooked on it, I played it every day for atleast a couple of months before I got builders club.
Now I'm more into GFX designing than anything, I enjoy it and find myself spending more time doing GFX designing for people than I do playing games with friends. I enjoy making Profile Thumbnails the most as I can play around with the effects on Paint dot Net. And I love seeing how good the finished product is.

Meet razecpt, Your New Intern!
Hello, I’m razecpt a summer intern here at Roblox News.

I found roblox back in 2010 when I saw a friend playing it, So I made an account. As soon as I started I got hooked to the idea of user made games. So I made several accounts finally settling on razecpt. I played lots of games back then: Flight simulators, Obbys (it got old really fast), tycoons and First Person Shooters. Now I’m more of a builder.

Roblox News: Summer Interns 2014
How do they work?
Each intern will be assigned to a specific member of staff called a 'mentor' to 'shadow' them. They will observe the staff member's role on the blog; learning about the articles they publish and how they can produce articles of the same high quality. From the staff member, the intern will learn job specific skills. The intern will be focussed on one section of RN's site, whereas a staff member may be performing several different roles at the same time. This gives the intern the ability to study their area closely and develop experience relevant to it. It will be the mentor's responsibility to private message their shadowing intern after each one of their posts with four positives points and one target to improvement in the next. This is important so the intern can build on their skills, but mentors can also practice responsibility and leadership skills through the programme.
How do you apply? *Deadline 12:00am PST Monday 4th August*
This year we are running the exact same programme (with the exception of the mentor's new duty) and will hopefully be accepting even more interns! Anyone who wishes to take on an internship here at Roblox News must send an application via private message to arbirator on ROBLOX. Applicants should have fairly good experience and knowledge of the ROBLOX site, including the games, catalog and forum sections, and should have competent English skills.
The application should include:
- Your favourite aspect of the ROBLX site
- Your ambition on ROBLOX
- Why you want to become a summer intern at RN
- Which staff member you wish to shadow and why
Optional:
- A sample article of your choice - anything to do with ROBLOX. Place reviews and item reviews are a favourite among applicants, but you could try something more adventurous!
- What new type of article you would like to see on RN, and why.
Internships are a great way of helping people deepen their knowledge as well as giving them experience with other staff members and developing social skills. RN interns are likely to be asked to stay on as full time staff after the programme finishes.
Thanks, and good luck!

Which Interns Made it as Permanent Staff?
Throughout the last month, as many of you know, Roblox News has been running a summer internship programme. The programme was highly successful in building skill-sets for our interns and providing them with much needed experience in the world of game journalism. Mentors and interns alike learnt from the experience, developing their team working skills and their ability to communicate well to both their target audience and members of staff. From intern feedback, and the sheer quality of articles produced, we have deduced that the interns thoroughly enjoyed their experience here at RN. For this reason we will be certainly continuing the programme next year!
So without further ado, it's time to present the newest permanent additions to the Roblox News blog team!

bennyhill44 will be working as a Site here at RN, producing ome place reviews, spotlights, and showcases on all the latest and greatest ROBLOX user generated content and ROBLOX groups. He will be joining our veteran team helping to contribute the articles you know and love.

Darwin12 will be working as a Site Journalist specialising in articles discussing site news, ROBLOX developers and groups. Occasionally he will publish articles showcasing ROBLOX places displaying excellence in building and scripting too! So look out for a whole host of different articles from the talented Darwin12!

DDude9091 produced excellent, detailed place reviews during his summer internship, impressing me greatly. His talent in blogging will be captivated in his role as Game Journalist here on Roblox News. DDude9091 will be looking for the highest quality ROBLOX games to review, week in, week out.

Elvinusa will also be working as a Game Journalist on Roblox News - focussing on producing detailed break-downs and reviews of the most popular ROBLOX games, revealing what really makes the games tick. Elvinusa joins our esteemed team of place reviewers!

Finally we have the elusive Robloxer032 who may have not produced a large quantity of articless, but produced them to a very high standard. Robloxer is a welcome addition to our Game Journalist department and will be working with Evilnusa and other esteemed reviewer to bring you the best user generated content ROBLOX has to offer.
So there we have it: our five new permanent staff members at RN. Give the new team a warm welcome in the comments section below!

A small Introduction to our new intern: bennyhill44
Hello guys, I am bennyhill44, the newest member of staff in Roblox News! I will be working here as a writer, and my dream is to get all of you reading my articles. If possible, I will write up to 3 articles a day. They will mainly be about detailed places, but some will be about hats, models, gears and groups. If I drafting an article on your game, group, etc, I will need you to get what I need done for the article; e.g. quotes and pictures. I don't mind suggestions, but I run articles the way I need them, I won't allow you to decide what pictures I put on and what quotes go with what.
Things about me: I love writing and reading. I love spending time with friends and just generally friendly people. I speak Spanish, French, English and German. I am trying to learn C++ and Lua. I am a complicated person and I would rather figure things out for myself. My future careers goals are; to work for ROBLOX as a writer and being a charity worker.
That's all really, my first article will be posted soon :D

Elvinusa: Roblox News Intern Biography
My name is Elvinusa (shadowing PeerPants).
I could go on and on about the different wars I have been in
or the situations I have had to face, but that wouldn’t be logical. A friend or
a commercial didn’t invite me, but it's only luck I came to ROBLOX. I was invited by
the very blog of which I am writing on.
It’s amazing how a little Internet surfing got me here. To a
new realm of unexplored land and dreams. Maybe it was fate or me being lazy.
Anyway, I am glad I clicked the second link to ROBLOX, and I would
never regret that decision.
Some things you 'ought to know. I
am a huge fan of Jazz-Pop. I absolutely love sunny mornings. Most days I skip breakfast.
I have been to 13 countries. Math is my best subject and always will. I’m 12
going to 13 in January and moving to 7th grade as well. From the 7th
ill be taking all honors courses with a 9th grade geometry course
complied with Trigonometry.
Enough of my seemingly nerdy and
humble life. Lets move to ROBLOX. My favorite game of all time is Clockworks
Sword fighting Arena. Its not well known but its intricately designed structure
works so well while sword fighting. I don’t have a particular preference to
games but I absolutely despise games that involve jumping down a 1 Million
storied building, and jumping into SpongeBob’s mouth. These types of games
don’t deserve recognition unless they are actually somehow pleasing. A special
interest I have is examining Clan bases and training, its somehow entertaining
and quite fun. I enjoy many of those ROBLOX classics like The Underground war as it relieves my stress. Just like my handy dandy chocolate bar. I have an
obsession with my quest to find the perfect group. The closest I have found to
that is The Raven Empire, but I quit a rebel.
When I complete my internship I
wish to pursue List articles and Place reviews, as a specialty and hopefully
one day become a mentor to my own interns!
My passion for War groups was
used up when I helped a 20-member group rise to 100. Fall, Reform, and fall
again. That was the last time I vowed to be committed to war groups as my main
source of work. I found joy in reading articles from here and decided to join
RN for the thrill and to fill my desire for writing. My passion came from my communications
work I did in my clans.
I hope to make wonderful work
come out form my time here and I know that my time as an intern will be a good
one.
Thank You,
^Elvinusa(Intern)
Lets all give a warm RN welcome to Elvinusa

Introduction: DDude9091
Hello everyone, I’m DDude9091 and will be shadowing Zakary99 as a summer intern for Roblox News! I joined Roblox on the thirteenth of March in 2010; all I thought about then was playing the various games ROBLOX featured. Now, my view of Roblox is more in-depth and I have migrated to trading and other stuff ROBLOX allows users to do. I’ve become quite the sword fighter, and I have advanced my building skills far past what I used to be able to perform.
| That would be me up there. |
I currently keep my friends list to a certain amount; if I can’t remember where I met them or if I haven’t seen them for a very long time, I remove them. The things I am focusing on as of the moment are trading, my primary war group, ‘Fel Legion’ and of course, Roblox News.
During my time as a summer intern, I will be writing place reviews & showcases. With the place owner’s luck, I’ve had a cup of hot chocolate that day and pancakes for breakfast. Mmm, pancakes. Anyway, with the help of Zakary99 (The best place reviewer I’ve ever seen in my whole life, but still not better than pancakes), I’ll hopefully be able to improve my skill, vocabulary and punctuation as a writer and become better with each draft I create.
I figure I should also include some things about my non-pixel self. I’m 12 years of age and skipped first grade/year 2, and will be taking English and Geometry this coming school year. As previously stated, I love pancakes and hot chocolate (but never hot chocolate made with Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, that ruins the taste).

Darwin12.
I'm Darwin12.
I search through ROBLOX for a similar thing: design, creativity and beauty. Then from there, I write, I talk, I express and blog about everything I see as if it was a tangible dream.
I've been doing this for two years now. My most recent of blogs is AverateMedia, aged about two weeks, and is a separation from my old blog where I found myself bored of working on projects I was assigned. I wanted to break free from that, and since then, I have and from that, I have written tens of articles about interesting people, great groups, exceptional places, and of course: things people should see.
I find exceptional love in perfectionism and design. These two things have prompted me to rewrite this precise summary a total of three times. They were hardly drafts; as I don't believe in drafts. I believe in doing things right, or it isn't worth the time of anyone. I want to make relevant blog posts to interested users that are looking for not only a game, group or interesting person. But an experience in these games, groups, and exceptional enthusiasm towards people I interview.
The best way to put it: my job is to not restate what people already know, but to praise people that dedicate themselves to making the best things popular; and that is what I say to expect from me in the coming weeks on this blog.
I will post a ROBLOX News exclusive that I promise is both extensive and reasonable either weekly or bi-weekly in the same style that I do on my own blog [AverateMedia, except there I do it as my job everyday].
During the time that I have this exclusive, I will go in depth on games, groups and people that are not only reasonable or exceptional at what they do, but great at it.
I will see you all around.

Roblox News Interns: Second Roll-Call!
Here at Roblox News we have been receiving summer internship applications all throughout last week. In this post I'm pleased to announce our second three interns! As with every year, the applications were of the highest quality and many were added straight to the 'definite intern' list after being read. There is no set number of summer interns - and it changes from year to year; positions offered are totally dependent on the number of quality applications. This is our second roll-call; you can read about our first roll-call right here!
What is the intern programme?
A number of applicants are chosen to become summer interns here at Roblox News. These individuals will shadow staff members who are currently in occupation on the blog for the period of the (British) summer holidays - the programme ends on the 8th September. Interns will draft posts relevant to the shadowed staff member's area of expertise and will receive guidance from their mentor. The intern will receive feedback after each post they make via the ROBLOX private messaging system; they will given 3 positive points outlining what they did well, and given a target to improve upon in their next publication.
The idea of the programme is to equip aspiring writers and journalists with greater literacy and communications skills. Interns continuously learn from their experience by building relationships with both Roblox News staff and fans. Once the internship programme is over, interns may be asked to stay on as full time staff members right here at Roblox News!
Here are the second batch of summer interns!
Elvinusa submitted an excellent application consisting of a clearly outlined skill-set and experience he has acquired over his time on ROBLOX. Boasting an intelligent writing style and interesting format; Elvinusa informed me of his ROBLOX career within clans and how he hopes to utilise his knowledge in his future articles. He also displayed an interest in creating some new themed articles regarding ROBLOX places and the building behind them. For this reason, he will be shadowing one of our lead place reviewers; Peerpants.
Darwin12's application screamed individuality and freedom of expression - something that is highly sought after in the world of gaming journalism, and journalism as a whole for that matter. His attributes and past experiences were documented as well as his current professions including his very own blog and his ROBLOX machinima project. Darwin12 will be shadowing nitro357; a talented place reviewer.
I look forward to working with these two fantastically talented individuals, and rest assured we will be reading their quality publications this week! The third, and final batch of Roblox News summer interns will be announced tomorrow in our last roll-call! Don't miss it!
Thanks for reading!

Fghrty77 wrote an excellent application outlining his enthusiasm with ROBLOX groups and clans. I briefly met him at BLOXcon London at the Roblox News stall and seemed interested in joining Roblox News as an intern. Fghrty77 will be shadowing myself (arbirator) as I'd like to feature more clan related articles on Roblox News. He will be interviewing clan members and leaders, principally finding out what life is like within group communities.

DDude9091 submitted an intricately detailed application, and included some useful background information about himself. Furthermore, he sent in a wonderful sample place review about the game 'Unknown Demise' which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. With a clear writing style and solid structure to his piece, DDude9091 caught my eye. He will be shadowing one of our lead place reviewers: Zakary99, producing quality game articles that readers will enjoy.

Roblox News: Summer Interns 2013!
It's that time of year again; Summer! For the past two years Roblox News has run a successful internship programme. We select a handful of promising applicants and introducing them to the world of gaming journalism. Last year we had a fantastic batch of fresh writers - three of which are now permanent staff members here at Roblox News: zakary99, chubbs21, darkfish900! They enjoyed the experience so much, they wanted to stay!
How do they work?
Each intern will be assigned to a specific member of staff called a 'mentor' to 'shadow' them. They will observe the staff member's role on the blog; learning about the articles they publish and how they can produce articles of the same high quality. From the staff member, the intern will learn job specific skills. This is important so the intern can build on their skills, but mentors can also practise responsibility and leadership skills through the programme.
How do you apply? *Deadline 12:00am PST Friday 2nd August*
This year we are running the exact same programme (with the exception of the mentor's new duty) and will hopefully be accepting even more interns! Anyone who wishes to take on an internship here at Roblox News must send an application to robloxnewshelp@live.co.uk. Applicants should have fairly good experience and knowledge of the ROBLOX site, including the games, catalog and forum sections, and should have competent English skills.
The application should include:

Hello, I'm Regilord.
Hey guys, I'm regilord. I'm sorry for being so late with this, but I just finished a week at camp without service and I was rudely cut off from the outside world. But without further ado, this would just about the time I start my bio.
I guess it's proper to state why and what I am doing here and I view that as a fine place to start. Since around December 2011 I have been avidly reading Roblox News and been hoping for an opening. When I saw a job opening for place reviewer I lunged for it but I did not get the job, yet I did get an article published. Catalog Heaven has been my first and only article ever published and it was what inspired me to join RN as an intern. Sadly I was told it was basically a sure fire way in if I had a decent application which, after an edit or two, I did. So it wasn't much of a challenge to get in.
I first heard of Roblox sometime in September 2008 from a group of my closest friends at the time, and one time I went over to his house and I decided to join. It took me an hour to come up with a name that didn't use numbers. It happened to be regilord. A name of which the origin only me and the friend know. I you want to know the embarrassing origin you can pm me or tweet me. I deny to openly say it on the world wide web. In 2012 around April I quit for about a month or two, but boredom, emptiness, and twitter followers brought me back. Everyone must admit there is a time where you want to quit and sometimes you do, but something always brings you back.
I don't really play games all that much unless I'm testing my games, just hanging out, or if it catches my eye. I'm normally just foruming or checking out all the cool things I can't afford in the catalog. But you can always catch me in the same classic games such as the original SFOTH. And the only thing I've seemed to forgot to say is I'm a place reviewing intern for Banjobug. I guess that's all, until next time fellow readers.
If you want to reach me or ask me anything pm me or contact my twitter @regilord. I'd be more than happy to talk to you or answer any questions.

Hey, I'm Chubbs21!
Hey guys! I'm a new summer intern for Roblox News! I am shadowing BillCheesey5, A Catalog Analyst! I am very interested in the world of profiting and all things money and limiteds. I am an investor on ROBLOX. I usually am able to tell if a limited will "win or fail". (If you get profit from buying it or not.) I am also interested in the many non-limited hat's ROBLOX makes too. :) I also do things not about money like make fun games.
On ROBLOX News, I will be making posts about the Catalog and Limited or LimitedU items. I will tell you if limiteds are a bad investment, which hats are the coolest and most worth buying, item reviews, and even rumors about certain hats and other items.
If you need to ask any questions, send a message on ROBLX or follow me on Twitter! I am @chubbs21RBLX
