Hello all curious Robloxians, and welcome to the long awaited arrive of my Bio! I am ZeTripod: your basic, yet random, and curious enough ROBLOXian to join this Blog!

I started playing Roblox in 2009, when I was in fifth grade. I was on my old profile back then, miniman2605. My friend got me hooked when a new Halo RPG came out, resulting in explosions, Bloxxed Robloxians, and of course, sparked my love for team vs. team wars. This lead to my love of Groups, and I tend to become very sucked into groups very easily. I accept Friend Requests often, Answer all PM's and am currently working on Re-vamping my group, Infesco Armed Forces. But anyways, you guys aren't here to hear about that! Here is my life in a nutshell...

Hello there! My name is Cthonus, I'm a 14 year Computer IT dude thingy. Everybody considers me a Russian even though I was born in America; specifically Florida; and I still live in the same town! My favorite hobbies....are computer related stuff...and that's it. I'm just a homosapien sitting in a chair while typing this on my custom built PC.

PaleEclipse: New Summer Intern!

Hi, I'm Pale a new summer intern at Roblox news.

I joined in 2013, when a friend of mine was moving away he gave me my ROBOX account as a present.As soon as I started playing the first game I played was Paintball, by daxter33. I was hooked on it, I played it every day for atleast a couple of months before I got builders club.
Now I'm more into GFX designing than anything, I enjoy it and find myself spending more time doing GFX designing for people than I do playing games with friends. I enjoy making Profile Thumbnails the most as I can play around with the effects on Paint dot Net. And I love seeing how good the finished product is.

Hello, I’m razecpt a summer intern here at Roblox News.


 I found roblox back in 2010 when I saw a friend playing it, So I made an account. As soon as I started I got hooked to the idea of user made games. So I made several accounts finally settling on razecpt. I played lots of games back then: Flight simulators, Obbys (it got old really fast), tycoons and First Person Shooters. Now I’m more of a builder.

I'm a new Summer Intern here at ROBLOX News. Here is some things about me. 

I live in the Lone Star state (Texas), I am experienced Writer as I've won many awards, at my school for my writing. I am also a Front End Web Developer, If you don't know what that is, it's a developer who helps design the website in the front end, sliders, fonts. Etc.   In my free time I enjoy biking and BMXing at my Local track. (won many awards).

Hello everyone. I am a new summer intern at Roblox News. I saw other interns writing and introduction about themselves, so I thought I would make one too. I am looking forward to the possibility of working at RN for a full-time job as a catalog analyst.

A Little Bit About Me, Astrionics, Your New Intern

Hello there Roblox News readers!

     I'm one of your new interns, and I hope to learn alot during this internship and stay with Roblox News thereafter! Just a short bio about myself, I'm from Canada, you know that big hunk of land up north on the opposite side of Russia. I snowboard, paintball, develop games on Roblox, and I am also currently learning how to script. I also aspire to be an aerospace engineer when I finish school, and most obviously, I am a Roblox user, just like you. 

Roblox News: Summer Interns 2014

It's that time of year again; Summer! For the past three years Roblox News has run a successful internship programme. We select a handful of promising applicants and introducing them to the world of gaming journalism. Last year we had a fantastic batch of fresh writers - some of which stayed on at Roblox News to perform full-time roles on the blog. Roles include site journalism, game journalism, and catalog analysis! The scheme has harbored some great accomplishments for Roblox News, and through this method of recruitment we are able to better develop the skills of future employees and better tailor them to our blog than we would through a simple recruitment process. 

How do they work?

Each intern will be assigned to a specific member of staff called a 'mentor' to 'shadow' them. They will observe the staff member's role on the blog; learning about the articles they publish and how they can produce articles of the same high quality. From the staff member, the intern will learn job specific skills. The intern will be focussed on one section of RN's site, whereas a staff member may be performing several different roles at the same time. This gives the intern the ability to study their area closely and develop experience relevant to it. It will be the mentor's responsibility to private message their shadowing intern after each one of their posts with four positives points and one target to improvement in the next. This is important so the intern can build on their skills, but mentors can also practice responsibility and leadership skills through the programme.


How do you apply? *Deadline 12:00am PST Monday 4th August*

This year we are running the exact same programme (with the exception of the mentor's new duty) and will hopefully be accepting even more interns! Anyone who wishes to take on an internship here at Roblox News must send an application via private message to arbirator on ROBLOX. Applicants should have fairly good experience and knowledge of the ROBLOX site, including the games, catalog and forum sections, and should have competent English skills.

The application should include:

• Your favourite aspect of the ROBLX site
• Your ambition on ROBLOX
• Why you want to become a summer intern at RN
• Which staff member you wish to shadow and why

Optional:

• A sample article of your choice - anything to do with ROBLOX. Place reviews and item reviews are  a favourite among applicants, but you could try something more adventurous! 
• What new type of article you would like to see on RN, and why. 

Internships are a great way of helping people deepen their knowledge as well as giving them experience with other staff members and developing social skills. RN interns are likely to be asked to stay on as full time staff after the programme finishes.

A Letter from Darwin12

My name is Noah.

I figured this would be an interesting experience, something to return to. After I quit ROBLOX News a few months ago because of a variety of reasons, mostly attributed to having a personal loss of interest in ROBLOX, I kept moving on. Recently, I've been producing the last of my work on ROBLOX and cancelling my BC. It seems this is the sort of thing that I've always wanted to do: I wanted to access five years on ROBLOX in one post and get back to you on the overall influence ROBLOX had on me.

For some background: five years ago on the day of November 1, 2009, I wrote myself a personal letter for the future declaring that I would become a different person and decide who I was as an individual. At the mere age of nine, I wrote this letter and addressed specifically what I wanted to do then.

New Catalog Analyst: IceFang307!

Hello to everyone,

As a new Catalog analyst to RN, my name is IceFang307. Ice for short.

Before I joined RN, I was more into war groups of ROBLOX, coordinating in most of these groups, (and still am). As a coordinator, I analyse a lot in these groups, mainly to watch others and observe their skills and talent, and main group functions. Basic job. After then, I began to get fond of the blog system.

Wishing to assist in every way possible, in mostly analyzing and expressing in my thoughts, as these are my motives that really get me going, (Gee, I have a short list) which want me to contribute to the news for ROBLOX, today, and it's future. Thats basically it. (I must have forgotten what else I wanted to say for my bio. Lol)  I will be analyzing catalog items in terms of their aesthetics and their investment opportunities. Whilst I know this announcement is long overdue, please bear in mind that I (arbirator) have been extremely busy lately, and have had little time for ROBLOX, or indeed Roblox News. Apologies! 

Staff Commentaries - The Winter Games

A week ago, me, Arbirator, Rayman36 and TechTeam911 decided to make a commentary in the Winter Games, and as you can see, we enjoyed interrupting Arbirator. People had a slight problem remembering their titles in this commentary, or so it may have seemed.

The Inevitable Divide

Great to see you all again.
The Inevitable Divide is now over.

Here's the inevitable return of myself, ItsFutur to ROBLOX News.

In the coming weeks:

• I will be documenting a new experience in the production of my new philosophical puzzle game, memories.
• I will continue reviewing games.
• I will continue off delivering rants and editorials/opinion articles.

In addition to the things I talked about above, I'm also want to acknowledge that I started a variety of new projects. I'm working on the new Averate Community Site, as well as managing my own personal project called 'Me, Everyday' which is a daily documentary vlog about my life.

Oh and yeah! From now on, all my articles will feature that pretty awesome avatar over there to the left that was drawn by the talented Phearo! 

Oh yeah, and my stay is only promised for the six months I promise to 'stay' on ROBLOX here, so hopefully we get a lot out of that.

Giftsplosion 2013 Interview with IBarrageI!

Merry Christmas to all Roblox News readers out there! This Christmas Eve I bring you a giftsplosion themed interview with Roblox News' very own assistant editor: IBarrageI. In the interview we cover his views on the gift items and the achievements to earn them. We talk prices, accessibility and creativity of the 2013 Giftsplosion and give our overall impressions of the Christmas event.

 Note: apologies for the gaps between audio at various points in the video - I'm not used to the editing of several pieces of audio and meshing them together, it will be improved for the next audio interview. Introducing LeetMcLeety

Yo Robloxians! I'm LeetMcLeety, the new staffer! Imagine that you're a normal human and then one morning, you wake up and have the power to fly. That's exactly how excited I am to be apart of this team and spread the news. It's an honor and a privilege to be apart of such a talented team of Robloxians.

 I myself have a few minor talents that somehow got me on the team, but compared to these veterans, I feel like Guest 3940. But hey, I better stop flattering everyone before I get kicked off, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. On ROBLOX, I'm known as LeetMcLeety, so please just call me Leet. I'm a writer and public speaker at heart. My dream job is to work as either: a scientist (biology, paleontology, or physics), a speaker for a scientific institute/organization, or a journalist for a scientific institute/organization. Now, I'm a little random, and as a hobby you'd think I'd do scientific experiments but no, I'm also a graphic designer and 3D game/video maker.

I'm currently working with a friend on a 3d game that we just released a demo for. Anyway, I probably need to get back on topic and show you around my ROBLOX profile so to speak. I joined ROBLOX in 2008 with the account amicus, left ROBLOX in 2009, came back in the clan era during 2010 and joined what I call, "The Roaring 20's of Clans." Stayed in C&G till I got a little bored of clans and went to ATR, had some fun there, and then moved back into clans and am now here at Roblox News. During that quick scan of my Roblox timeline, I used the accounts Jakesoccer09 (when I C&Ged), and Jacobiesoccer09 (when I ATRed), and now I use LeetMcLeety. I'm now into clans, game designing, clothing companies, and now news groups. So yeah, it’s a little crazy around here. Anyway, I'm sorry for wasting your time by writing this big-giant-probably-too-long-waste-of-space-blog-post, but hey, like I always say…I can't stop talking.

Which Interns Made it as Permanent Staff?

Throughout the last month, as many of you know, Roblox News has been running a summer internship programme. The programme was highly successful in building skill-sets for our interns and providing them with much needed experience in the world of game journalism. Mentors and interns alike learnt from the experience, developing their team working skills and their ability to communicate well to both their target audience and members of staff. From intern feedback, and the sheer quality of articles produced, we have deduced that the interns thoroughly enjoyed their experience here at RN. For this reason we will be certainly continuing the programme next year!

So without further ado, it's time to present the newest permanent additions to the Roblox News blog team!


bennyhill44 will be working as a Site here at RN, producing ome place reviews, spotlights, and showcases on all the latest and greatest ROBLOX user generated content and ROBLOX groups. He will be joining our veteran team helping to contribute the articles you know and love. 





Darwin12 will be working as a Site Journalist specialising in articles discussing site news, ROBLOX developers and groups. Occasionally he will publish articles showcasing ROBLOX places displaying excellence in building and scripting too! So look out for a whole host of different articles from the talented Darwin12!






DDude9091 produced excellent, detailed place reviews during his summer internship, impressing me greatly. His talent in blogging will be captivated in his role as Game Journalist here on Roblox News. DDude9091 will be looking for the highest quality ROBLOX games to review, week in, week out. 




Elvinusa will also be working as a Game Journalist on Roblox News - focussing on producing detailed break-downs and reviews of the most popular ROBLOX games, revealing what really makes the games tick. Elvinusa joins our esteemed team of place reviewers!






Finally we have the elusive Robloxer032 who may have not produced a large quantity of articless, but produced them to a very high standard. Robloxer is a welcome addition to our Game Journalist department and will be working with Evilnusa and other esteemed reviewer to bring you the best user generated content ROBLOX has to offer.
